Intro: Futurist have very little to claim as being in the past other than the Spring Feasts of the Lord that could be seen it a literal sense while the Fall feasts and events were Spiritual in nature in the unseen realm during the first century. When you think about it the Blowing of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Feast of tabernacles were generally accomplished in the unseen realm but the Spring Feasts were in the seen realm.
1 The Fall Feast and Holy Convocations foreshadowed Christ second coming. Accurate eschatology can be seen in Leviticus 23 in the Seven Feast of the Lord. 2 The first four were fulfilled soon after Jesus was crucified then after 40 years like in the wilderness with Moses before the nation of Israel could enter into the promised land the last events of the Holy Convocation Days and Feasts of Tabernacles were fulfilled in the fall of AD70 before the whole world entered into the New Heaven and Earth.
3 They were the Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets, The Holy Convocation of the Day of Atonement and The Feast of Tabernacles or Booths. 4 These three events came after the Spring Feasts and Holy Convocation Days which were The Lord’s of Passover, The Feast of Un-leaven Bread, The Holy Convocation Day of First-Fruits and the Feast of Pentecost otherwise called Weeks or Shavuot. 5 There was a four month dry period from the Spring Feasts to the Fall Feast. 6 The anti-type of those four months in between the Fall Feast and the Spring Feasts was a forty year period which was one generation also associated with the 1000 year reign of Christ. 7 The anti-type of the Fall Feast and Holy Convocations were fulfilled after 40 years from when the Spring Feasts were being fulfilled during the time Christ was crucified to the Day of Pentecost. 8 The Fall Feast and Holy Convocation Days were in type of the events that would occur right at the time of the end of the Age when Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed.
9 A frame story is a literary technique that serves as a companion piece to a story within a story, where an introductory or main narrative sets the stage either for a more emphasized second narrative or for a set of shorter stories. 10 A good example of Frame Story is in the book of Revelation where John does it throughout the book that seems to have a some series of events that over lap each other. 11 John has the freedom to tell things which he had already seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.
Revelation 1:19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.
12 The Fall time Holy Convocation Days and Feast began at the end of the Age between AD66 to AD70. 13 Some say that the Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets fulfillment began in August 10th AD70 according to what Josephus a Jewish historian said. 14 The Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets was the first fall time event with the blowing of trumpets was similar to the walls of Jericho coming down as a type according to Joshua 6:1–27. 15 Some interesting things that happened with the walls of Jericho coming down are that it was one of the first things that happened as soon as Joshua lead God’s people into the promised land. 16 The other things that happened was that God said that if anyone was to rebuild Jericho which could have been in type for old Jerusalem that they would be cursed, Jerusalem was first mentioned in the Bible in Joshua 10 where there was a battle and the Sun stood still for 24 hours so that Israel’s armies could defeat it.
17 Another very interesting thing that happened as well was that God stopped providing manna for His people to eat as soon as they had a harvest after they entered into the promised land. 18 The thing that comes to my mind is that when the first centuries saints during those 40 years of waiting for the second appearing of Christ in AD70, is that there were a few things that stopped as well. 19 Things that were associated with coming out of their bondage to the Old Covenant like water baptism and having Adam as the father of humanity along with the Spiritual and substitutional death Adam died when he sinned. 20 All of these kinds of things should have ended in AD70 but we carry them on as a tradition which is no longer required in the Kingdom of God since the New Heaven and Earth began because all things were made new.
21 The Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets also represented the sound of the last trump where the dead rise in the second resurrection with both the just and the unjust for judgment with the second appearing of Christ. 22 During The Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets the announcement of the inviting to all the nations of the Earth to attend the marriage of the Lamb for the Feast of Tabernacles. 23 The Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets was like the last call for those who wanted to be part of the Bride of Christ to join in like what we see in The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins.
Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed
Rev. 11: 15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:
“We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,
The One who is and who was and who is to come,
Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
18
The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.
1 Corinthians 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
24 The Holy Convocation Day of Atonement was a solemn day of fasting that had to be taken very seriously, it was also a High Sabbath Day of rest. 25 It was the only day where fasting was required by law and had to be observed. 26 It was fulfilled on the Judgment Day where Jesus Christ returned as the High Priest who entered into the Most Holy Place with His blood for acceptance by the Father which could not be done while the Temple still stood according to:
Hebrews 9: 8the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
27 The Tabernacle of David was restored figuratively in Acts 15 for the first century Church so they could go boldly into the Most Holy Place, but when Jesus was to fulfill the Holy Convocation Day of Atonement He did it accordingly to the the pattern of the first Tabernacle so that is why the Temple had to no longer stand before He could enter into the Most Holy Place after the Temple was destroyed in order to fulfill the Great White Thrown Judgment. 28 Once this was done in the Spiritual realm the Age of Corruption came to an end and the New Glorious Creation began with All Things Made New.
29 On The Holy Convocation Day of Atonement there were many animals being sacrificed on that day for the sins of the whole nation of Israel, that was a type for the whole world for its fulfillment. 30 Before Jesus became that final sacrifice for sins, animals were used in type of what Jesus would do and the blood of those animals were poured into many bowls.
Revelation 16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”
31 Then in Revelation 16 there are seven bowls mentioned there. 32 On The Holy Convocation Day of Atonement everything was depending on their sins being forgiven as a nation so that they could go forward with good standing with God with a clean start. 33 Today in modern day Israel keep Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism. 34 Its central themes are atonement and repentance. 35 Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a day-long fast and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services but they have a few serious problems. 36 They have no temple which makes it impossible to keep the law. 37 The other problem they have is that there is no Levitical Priesthood that can be proven because their records were destroyed back in AD70 and by law it required proof of their genealogy in:
Nehemiah 7: 64 These sought their listing among those who were registered by genealogy, but it was not found; therefore they were excluded from the priesthood as defiled.
38 The last Feast was the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths which the antitype is the New Heaven and Earth and the marriage of Christ and the first century Church and when God would tabernacle with His people and fellowship with them. 39 It was required that all the 70 nations of the Earth from Noah had to attend this Feast for a blessing or they would be cured with no rain. Revelation 21 was the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles.
Revelation 21: 1Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
40 The number seven plays an important part because it means completeness. 41 In the Book of Revelation there are Seven Churches in chapters 2 and 3. Seven lamps of fire which are the Seven Spirits of God, in Revelation chapter 4 there are Seven Seals, in chapters 6 and 7 Six Trumpets, in chapters 8 and 9 there are Seven Thunders which seem to be Angels in chapter 10, then the last Trumpet in chapter 11 which was the Seventh Trumpet, then the Seven Bowls in chapter 16.
42 I’m not sure what all of these things meant, I just look for the main things that convince me that all of these events were all fulfilled in AD70 without going into detail what everything could have meant. 43 There are a lot of people out there who have made claims to what they mean but most of them were probably wrong and a lot of people use anything to try to prove it hasn’t happened yet.
Conclusion:
44 The Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets are seen in the Seven Trumpets in Revelation 8-11 which caught my attention because they seem to be associated with the Holy Convocation day of Trumpets, as well as the walls of Jericho coming down. 45 It seemed to me that a few of the Seven Trumpet and Seven Bowl events are very similar to the things that happened to Egypt when Moses was dealing with the Pharaoh before he let God’s people go free. 46 Chapter 18 kind of wraps up things with the final destruction of the city and temple to bring the conclusion to the Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets. One other thing I noticed about that day was that it was only one day but in reality it started in AD66 and went to AD70 then the Holy Convocation Day of Atonement’s fulfillment began right after the Temple no longer stood. The Holy Convocation Day of Blowing Trumpets would have been the Day of the Lord coming in power and glory that lasted about three and a half years from the time Jerusalem was surrounded by the Roman armies. Maybe that is what Peter meant by writing this:
2 Peter 3:8But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward [c]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
47 The Holy Convocation Day of Atonement is seen in:
Revelation 19:1 Salvation and glory and honour and power belong to the Lord our God! 2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth
48 The Feast of Tabernacles or Booths was fulfilled with all things made new and a view of God’s Kingdom opening up to the Tree of Life which had been off limited during the old Age from Adam to the end of the last days or Age where all the nations of the Earth were included in the New Heaven and Earth. 49 People have a choice to either have faith in Christ and be partakers in His Heavenly domain and eat from the Tree of Life or be outside of gates to the New Jerusalem where they Spiritually dwell in Outer Darkness.
