First Death Vs. Second Death

1 There is a lot of confusion out there about the death that Adam died when the scriptures speak of sin and death and what death was destroyed at the cross, as well as the last enemy which was death. 2 To know what kind of death was the first death, we need to understand what was the first kind of life which cause Adam had before he sinned. 3 God who is Spirit and Immortal, breathed into Adam the breathe of life and Adam became a living soul with Immortal life. 4 In a sense Adam was putting on immortality like we are to put immortality on like a piece of clothing are while we are alive on Earth according to 2 Corinthians 5:1-5. 5 God is the very first form of life and God is Spirit who made Adam in His image and for a purpose. 6 God is also love and His image is His character which the Tree of Life reflects because the fruits are what His Character are which is Love. 7 The Tree of Life represented Spiritual life, the Tree of Knowledge represented Spiritual death and separation from being made in God’s Immortal image into being like God but just a mortal god knowing what good and evil was according to their own eyes.

8 Here is the list of the twelve fruits of the Spirit defined that the Tree of Life has.

1. Love 2. Joy 3. Peace 4. Long-suffering 5. Kindness 6. Goodness 7. Faithfulness 8.Gentleness 9. Self-control 10. Virtue 11. Knowledge 12. Godliness

9 This is the death that Adam and Eve died from when they disobeyed God and ate from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. 10 It separated them from the Tree of Life which is the image of God. 11 God’s image and presence was limited and mostly hidden from mankind after that Adam and Eve gave up that privilege which brought them from being Immortal and Spiritually alive to being mortal and Spiritually dead that mankind inherited. 12 Eventually God gave the nation of Israel whom were in type for the world His laws and ten commandments that were only a shadow or in type from the Tree of Knowledge that reflected the true light of the Laws of the Spirit that came from the Tree of Life. 13 It was in this way throughout the centuries that God would reveal His redemptive plan through the Feasts of the Lord and the Holy Convocation Days within those Feasts to restore mankind back into His presence with Immortality through His Son Jesus Christ.

14 God still revealed His presence to men in limited ways after Adam and Eve sinned, but God dealt with mankind according to the Tree of Knowledge after Adam and Eve died a separation Spiritual death of being made in God’s image that was Immortal. 15 God’s presence was in accordance to mankind being separated from being made in His image and according to living by the Tree of Knowledge. 16 An example of this would be on the Holy Convocation day of Atonement when the High Priest went into the Most Holy Place after preforming all the sacrifices before he did so once a year and appeared in God’s presence. 17 God appeared to Noah, Abraham, Moses and many others throughout the coarse of history and they were even called friends of God during the old Age of sin and death. 18 But mankind was still separated from the life of being in God’s Immortal image until the restoration of all things were fulfilled. 19 Starting at Pentecost in the Upper Room which sealed the promise for believers to the complete fulfillment of all the things spoken of by the prophets in AD70. 20 That was the time that all of the Feasts of the Lord and Holy Convocation Days within those Feasts were fulfilled with the final Feast of Tabernacles foreshadowing the New Heaven & Earth.

21 Adam and Eve were convinced that they would become wise in knowing more about what good and evil were so they wanted what the Tree of Knowledge had to offer. 22 As a result they were able to decide what was good and what was evil by themselves which only partaking from the Tree of Knowledge could enable them to do. 23 Adam and the rest of all of mankind that were to follow were living in accordance to what each one of them saw as what was good and evil in their own eyes. 24 Each one would have a different code to the rules of life in which to live by. 25 Like the Tower of Babel with different groups of people each group having their own language, each having their own set of rules and laws which cause confusion for how to live with others around them they eventually separated into about 70 nations.

26 So today there are people who Spiritual dwell in Outer Darkness, all knowing good and evil according to their own eyes of understanding in a similar way they did before AD70. 27 The Tree of Life is available to them but they reject when they squander away their inheritance of immortal life when they become like the Prodigal Son was.

28 The first century Church were making themselves get ready to be the Bride of Christ by the help of the Holy Spirit. 29 Though they were sealed with the promise of the Holy Spirit they had limited access to the Tree of Life while they were getting ready while the Old Covenant was vanishing away during the old Age. 30 Once the Old Covenant had vanished totally away it was a clear sailing into a glorious time of a new creation of Heaven and Earth.

The First Death:

31 Adam’s death was the first death that was both Spiritual and physical the day he sinned. Adam’s sin separated him from God Spiritually. 32 Adam’s physical death was substituted with the animal God had to kill for the skin God have Adam and Eve to wear instead of the fig leaves they used to cover their nakedness. 33 I believe if Adam’s death would not have sinned he still would have died physically and his body would have returned back to the Earth. 34 But what Adam forfeited when he died was to get a Spiritual body for the hereafter. 35 Instead Adam and the rest of mankind would become a disembodied soul after physical death and would have to wait in Hades until the resurrection of the dead.

The Second Death:

36 When the dead were resurrected out from Hades once the final phase of the resurrection took place at the end of the Age of Corruption in AD70 Adam’s death which was the first death was cast into the Lake of Fire. 37 The Lake of Fire had become the second death and it was established for the New Glorious Creation for the New Heaven and Earth. 38 God is a consuming fire to the unjust, and it is because everyone has been baptized in God’s presence ever since the Old Covenant Temple was destroyed in AD70.

Hebrews 10:9then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.

Hebrews 12:28Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29For our God is a consuming fire.

Matthew 3:7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Revelation 14:10he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

Conclusion:

39 When we get squared away and become conformed into the image of Christ we will have put back on like clothing, Immortal life. In the hereafter when our Spirit returns back to God we become an Immortal Spirited Being with a Spiritual body that will never die a second death in the Lake of Fire. 40 This subject on Adam’s death from Immortal life is one of the most important subject in the Bible because many things stem from it and if this is not right it will definitely effect views in eschatology.
