1 I see the Bad Moon Rising within Preterism. 2 It coming from the Dark Side of the Moon. 3 I see God arriving with deliverance on the way. 4 I Can See Clearly Now, the afterlife It’s gonna be a bright (bright) Bright (bright) sunshiny day. 5 In the glory of the Sunshine of Your Love.
6 That Bad Moon Rising got started in the Full Preterist Movement that originated with Max King in 1971 with the Corporate Body View. 7 Edward Steven was there to see how it all happened, and was there to reveal God’s truth with the Individual Body View that began in 1993. 8 Ed Steven meet with Max King on several occasions and in 1978 found out from Max King’s his CBV. 10 But it never did sit right with Ed Stevens for 18 years until he started to figure things out with the Holy Spirit revealing to him the truth in 1 Corinthians 15 about the seed to plant analogy in how God would rise the dead into a Spiritual body.
11 I became a Preterist in 2004 and went along with the CBV for 18 years until 2022 and then I read Ed Stevens articles on the IBV. 12 So I Can See Clearly Now which gave me hope to see a bright shiny day in the hereafter life in Heaven as individuals with a Spiritual body yet one in Spirit and in Christ. 13 The Corporate Body View seemed to be like a Collective “conscience” Borg without hope for a Spiritual body.
14 As the Corporate Body View grew that lead to the Dark Side of the Moon through the Covenant Creation View that has a Church Only View while the rest of humanity get left behind in the Age of Corruption in Adam’s sin and death. 15 My passion and purpose of life since I’ve been a Preterist seems to be for the here and now and looking at the past to understand what things changed to get us into the New Heaven and Earth. 16 While we are physical alive to help us see the Sunshine of Your Love in this New Glorious Creation. 17 Adam’s sin and death was cast into the Lake of Fire in AD70 where the Devil and his Angels are along with the goats who were judged that were separated from the sheep to be in Heaven according to Matthew 25:30. 18 Most Full Preterist that believe in the CBV believe Satan was annihilated in the Lake of Fire as many believe that no one has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit like I do. 19 They believe only when the word of God is being said but I believe in through the fruits of the Spirit and any gift God may use through us 24/7/365. 20 After realizing many of the things within Full Pretertism was a Bad Moon Rising back in 2020 I saw a need to seek the Lord for answers before the Israel Only View completely devoured Full Preterism. 21 Soon after the Transcended Full Preterist View came into play and to go to Spiritual warfare against this Bad Moon Rising within Preterism. 22 Max King the founder of Full Preterist started the CBV and he eventual became a Preterist Universalist. 23 Ed Stevens picked up on the truth that all scripture was fulfilled in AD70 and eventually deloveoped the IBV and I had to laugh when Ed said: Here a cult, there a cult, everywhere a cult, cult. But it’s really sad though true.
24 In my analogy of the Sun and Moon we know that the Moon is round like a ball, and we know that the Sun may shine on all sides of the Moon. 25 So the only part of the Moon that is truly dark, is the side that’s aimed away from the Sun at any given time for a little over 14 days. 26 But the Moon “faces” the Earth more or less the same way all the time. 27 The Sun represents God’s light the truth. 28 The Moon only gets its light from the Sun reflecting on it for the other 14 plus days so we never get to see the dark side of the Moon but in the back ground where the darkness lays it is going through the refining fire of the Sun. 29 Cults have a dark side to them most can not see because we only see the half truths reflected from the truth of God’s word while on the back side it is in the world of Outer Darkness to us but not to God where the Sun shines to reveal all things hidden to us.
30 I hope you enjoyed this but if your beliefs on the Dark Side of the Moon you are part of the Bad Moon Rising.
31 Those were four great songs I had always liked and now they serve a great purpose then what they were written for.…lol
32 Covenant Creation, Corporate Body View, Anti Holy Spirit Indwelling post AD70, Preterist Universalism, and the doctrine of Satan and the Lake of Fire ceased to exist beyond AD70 all seem to go hand in hand with each other. 33 Though not all who believe in everyone of those views, and they may not believe in all of the things within one of those views so we see them being debated a lot.
Covenant Creation:
34 Based on the foundation for Covenant Creation, which never sat right with me. 35 I see God’s creation through the eyes of Him creating by miracle, not by science to begin with. 36 Though there may have been a process though billions of years I allow for the first four days of God’s creation to have been an extended period of time until time was regulated on the four day, if time was basically still with a very slow rotation around the Sun. 37 Or it could have been the other way around and very fast, we don’t know. 38 I allow within my conscience to the possibility of other men and woman to be created like Adam and Eve as Sons of God in Genesis 6, but Adam and Eve to have been the very first, and only until those Sons of God who God might have created started to breed with women. 39 These are just assumptions and wanted to make that clear but other than that I lean to what the Bible says as literal as worded. 40 We do know that those Sons of God from Genesis 6 were all eventually destroyed in the flood that Noah and his family were saved from.
41 The Covenant Creation foundation is something my conscience rejects and I consider it a cult in the making as well as the CBV that denies the resurrection of the dead into Spiritual bodies. 42 These doctrines are like poisonous Kool Aid for those that dwell in Outer Darkness to drink.
43 Ed Stevens “Quote” Here are five of the deadly doctrines which you JL Vaughn and Tim Martin (co-authors of the Covenant Creationist book, BEYOND CREATION SCIENCE) believe and teach:
Foundational Doctrine:
1. Adam was NOT THE FIRST human being on planet earth.
2. There were MANY other human beings on the planet before Adam.
3. Both Adam and Eve were BORN from pre-existing human parents.
4. Eve was NOT MADE FROM A RIB taken from Adam’s rib-cage. She was born from pre-existing human parents.
5. The Flood of Noah’s day was NOT a global flood, but instead merely a local flood
“End Quote”
44 ADAMS RIB – Gen. 2 FACTS OF CREATION
The RIB has the richest amount of stem cells in all the bones of the body.
One can create a genetic human being from a single rib.
However, one type of stem cell is missing from the bone marrow of the rib…the stem cell that makes the placenta…coincidence? Eve did not need a placenta since she was not conceived by a mother.
Scientists often mock the creation story by saying man should have less ribs if Eve took one yet they have the same amount. To counter this, one must know that the RIB is the ONLY bone in the body to grow back when removed.
By comparison, rib bones show an unusual capacity to regrow and repair themselves even when a large portion is damaged. Previous research suggests that the connective tissue around the ribs helps to support and co-ordinate bone healing.
45 It is an amazing connection to Eve being made from a rib. 46 However removed ribs today do not grow a body. 47 But it does leave reasonable doubt about what Covenant Creation believes that Eve was NOT MADE FROM A RIB taken from Adam’s rib-cage when someone can create a genetic human being from a single rib.
48 Now the outcome of the Covenant Creation View “CC” is based on their foundational errors. 49 Their Glorious New Creation is only meant for the Church and no worldwide in mind as if stuck back in the Age of Corruption of Adam’s sin and death where Hades was before being cast into the Lake of Fire. 50 They may tell you otherwise but the aftermath of their view of Church Only will lead it back to that. 51 I recall their foundational errors were tools for the Israel Only View “IOV” that was devouring Full Preterism a few years ago until a lots of group on Facebook started banding them from their groups because of the rabbit holes it had created. 52 It also became a stepping stone into Atheism or others to have a faith in an energy god. 53 The one thing that stands out the most that what the Israel Only View used was that Adam was Israel in their typology of God’s Covenant people which never sat right with me. 54 The nation of Israel were God’s people that were under the Old Covenant that God used to bring salvation to the whole world from the Age of Corruption and into the New Glorious Creation for all of mankind. 55 But the CC View does not believe like the IOV, they believe the true Israel are believers in Christ, which they are. 56 So now we have the foundation for where the Church Only View “COV” comes from within Preterism.
57 Now as of today I had gone to the CC website to read their book and skipped through to the 18th chapter on the Big Picture because I also have a Big Pictures of the New Glorious Creation to see what they had to offer. 58 I was surprised that they have a view that goes along with what I called the Church Only View where they say that the all of creation was only for the people that God was in covenant with. 59 The point here in this is, all of creation being delivered out from the Age of Corruption and into the New Glorious Creation in AD70 that I believe effected the whole world as the creation. 60 That is because Adam’s sin and death effected all of mankind, not just His Old Covenant people.
61 Here is the part from JL Vaughn and Tim Martin (co-authors of the Covenant Creationist book, BEYOND CREATION SCIENCE) had to say in chapter 18 The Big Picture:
The Groaning Creation
Romans 8 is another biblical text, cited often in debates over Gen- esis, which further illustrates the direct connection between original creation and the story of redemption:
For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. (Rom. 8:22 NKJV)
The important question to ask, again, is simply: “What creation is Paul speaking about?” Again, the answer seems obvious. Paul’s teach- ing takes us back to the early chapters of Genesis which communicates creation and fall:
For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. (Rom. 8:20-21 NIV)
Note how Paul is working from a historical view of creation, fall, and redemption. Notice also that the creation has a real will and con- sciousness. Paul is not focused on the physical universe. The universe was not cursed because the universe never sinned. What is Paul’s con- cept of “the creation”? The creation is synonymous with God’s people. Paul is focused on redemption. The creation, the entire body of God’s covenant people, was being “brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.”15
This makes sense out of why Paul alludes to a particular aspect of the curse in his teaching:
For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. (Rom. 8:22 NKJV)
62 Anyone can read my article called Church Only View Vs. the New Glorious Creation View. 63 The views are not the same and I had no clue what the CC View was about this until today. 64 I was beginning to wonder if their view had some credibility to it until Edward Stevens started to band a few within our group and then I found out it was because of their foundational doctrine.
Corporate Body View:
65 The Corporate Body View is more like the Collective “conscience” Borg View where all the saint who were resurrected in AD70 do not have individual Spiritual bodies. 66 Max King the founder of Full Preterism back in 1971 began this view of CBV.
67 Ed Stevens “Quote” Max King departed into Universalism and Unitarianism over a decade ago. 68 He denies that Jesus the Son eternally co-existed with the Father. Don K Preston says he believes the Holy Spirit indwells us today, however he seems to take Franklin Camp’s view of it, which says that the Holy Spirit only indwells us impersonally through the Word. 69 Thus, I don’t think he believes in the Personal Indwelling of the Spirit today, at least not in the way that you and I do.
70 Preston, Baisden, Neubauer and others are teaching that the physical death and physical blood of Jesus is NOT what saves us. 71 And they deny that the physical death of Jesus on the Cross was His substitutionary death for our atonement.
72 Here is an excerpt (Points #4, 27, and 62) from my First Negative in the debate with Preston:
73 Preston believes that the only kind of death that was both threatened and carried out against Adam “on the very day he ate” was spiritual-only death. 74 He does not believe the threatened death included physical death in any sense. 75 And since he does not think Adam died physically in any sense “on the day he ate,” he therefore teaches that Jesus did not die physically in order to overcome that spiritual-only Death of Adam “DoA”. 76 That is why he teaches that the substitutionary death of Jesus was spiritual-only, and that His physical death was not the substitutionary death. 77 It is also why Don teaches that the blood shed for our forgiveness (Heb 9:22) was “not literal blood”.
78 The CBV cannot be right about the DoA being spiritual-only, because it would necessarily imply both that Christ did not need to die physically in order to overcome the spiritual-only DoA, and that the physical death of Jesus was not His substitutionary death for our atonement. 79 But that fatally contradicts Hebrews 9:22 which states, “without the shedding of [Christ’s] blood there is no forgiveness.” 80 That absolutely demands that the physical death of Jesus was his substitutionary death for our atonement. 81 The CBV attempts to avoid this dilemma by redefining the “blood” in Heb 9:22 as being “not literal liquid blood.” 82 Steve Baisden and Don Preston defended this spiritual blood idea on FaceBook in October and November 2018 –
Baisden said, “How many ounces of Jesus’ blood did it take to purchase that church? 83 Did he get any enzymes in change back? … 84 Were you washed in the physical blood of Jesus? 85 And if so, where might I find that swimming pool at?” 86 Preston came to the defence of Baisden by saying, “the blood being shed for remission of sin … was not literal blood.” 87 In response to Scott Russell, Preston said, “You seem to be taking the position that Jesus’ literal liquid blood of red and white corpuscles is what saves us, and not what the blood represents.”
88 Don also teaches that the physical death of Jesus was only a “sign” of the spiritual death, which means that the physical death was NOT the substitutionary death for our atonement, but rather that Christ’s spiritual death was the real substitutionary death. 89 That idea not only downplays the redeeming significance of Christ’s physical death, but goes even further to eliminate the physical death of Jesus from his substitutionary death. 90 Folks, that is trampling underfoot the precious irreplaceable physical blood of Christ! 91 The gospel is at stake here!
92 You and I will be held accountable not only for what we teach, but also for what we allow others to teach to the folks entrusted to our care. 93 We need to take that responsibility VERY seriously. 94 Souls can be confused and misled right out of the faith. 95 I do not want that on my conscience. 96 Like Apostle Paul told his co-worker Timothy, we need to “pay close attention to ourselves and to our teachings.”
97 Another quote from Edward Stevens, towards Ward Finley, Here is my answer: Apostle Paul describes our individual afterlife bodies as being immortal, incorruptible, spiritual, heavenly, and glorious (1Cor 15; Phil 3:21) – which are just like the individual glorious immortal body that Jesus has in heaven forever.
98 Now, what is your view of our individual afterlife bodies in heaven, after we die physically?
• Do you believe that each of us saints will have our own individual body in our afterlife (after physical death)? Or do you think we will simply merge into the one big collective BODY (like the BORG collective consciousness)?
• Do you believe we saints are in heaven now, with our new individual immortal bodies now (IBN)?
• Do you believe Jesus has an individual body in the unseen realm of heaven now, or do you believe that the only kind of body Jesus has in the unseen realm of heaven now is the collective body?
• Do you agree with Preston that when Jesus ascended, He divested himself of his “flesh and bone” body, and then His body was totally consumed by fire?
99 Another quote from Ed Stevens: A better description of the CBV concept of the afterlife might be to compare it with the Hindu concept of Nirvana — when they die it is like a drop of water into the ocean (losing one’s individuality and merging into the collective consciousness of the “ALL”.
100 How could there be greater rewards for some individuals if all of them lose their individuality and have no individual bodies and are merged together in a collective body?
101 This question forces the CBV guys to consider some kind of individuality and individual bodies in the afterlife.
102 We need to ask ourselves the following questions:
1 Why do wolves put on sheepskins and sneak in among the flock of sheep?
2 Why do those wolves in sheepskins cry “foul” when the wise old shepherd comes after them with his club?
3 Should the shepherd allow those wolves in sheepskins to remain among his flock?
4 Shouldn’t he lift the sheepskins off the wolves, and expose them to the flock, so that the flock can back away from them?
End Quote
103 This looks like a checkmate to me.
104 Those quotes from Ed Stevens will give you an idea of what we Full Preterist are up against.
105 In other words they teach Jesus died a Spiritual death only for our Spirit death only, and that I heard many times in so many different ways. 106 They may have worded it differently than I did but that is how I can explain it. 107 Their CBV also always left me thinking that they do not believe in a resurrection of any sort other than an Imaginary resurrection where a change of thinking was what made it happened and that is suppose to just the CBV some kind of justified reason for believing it. 108 The CBV also robs us of the hope for a Spiritual body in the afterlife. 109 The IBV does not sink in with them and some who do not understand it may it out to be a physical body view “PBV” that futurist have. 110 That is a straw man right there and when you see it, it should raise a red flag because they will use it to gaslight the truth.
111 Our hope for the hereafter is for a redemptive body that is an individual Spiritual body to be like what Jesus has now as well as the Angels where we will be recognized as an individual. 112 When I get up there in Heaven I want to see King David and talk with him and not be looking for molecules of him in the air.
113 Another quote from Ed Stevens: A better description of the CBV concept of the afterlife might be to compare it with the Hindu concept of Nirvana — when they die it is like a drop of water into the ocean (losing one’s individuality and merging into the collective consciousness of the “ALL”.
114 How could there be greater rewards for some individuals if all of them lose their individuality and have no individual bodies and are merged together in a collective body?
115 This question forces the CBV guys to consider some kind of individuality and individual bodies in the afterlife.

IBV Vs. CBV Compared to the Seed to Plant Analogy:
116 When a farmer plants a field of seeds then when harvest time comes he does not just cut down one plant or take one kernel of grain into his barn according the the seed to plant analogy from 1 Corinthians 15:35-49. 117 Nor is it just one kind of seed but is many different kinds.
Matthew 13:29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” .
118 Relating to the seed to plant analogy to the Corporate Body View “CBV”, imagine if you will a farmer plants a field of seeds that grow into a field of a huge loaf of bread with tares sticking out of it. 119 Now imagine if you will at harvest time the Reapers with their sickles cutting down the huge loaf of bread with tares sticking out of it, then first gathering together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them.
120 Imagine if you will after that the reapers gathering the field that would be a huge loaf of bread with the tares taken out into His barn.”
The Heavenly Temple and Being Like the Angels:
121 I see Ed Stevens Individual Body View “IBV” as getting back to Spiritual reality in the unseen realm relating to the Heavenly Temple made from lively stones with Jesus Christ as the cornerstone. 122 Yet each individual as a lively stone is an individual temple for the Holy Spirit to dwell in. 123 A Temple view as well as being like the Angels are would be how it should be look as the final results. 124 The Heavenly Temple as one body with Individual Body members within the Heavenly Temple that has the IBV as a foundation for its view. 125 Some would even be as pillars in the Temple and they would be the ones who are overcomer’s in their faith and obedience to Christ.
126 The objective here is that I hope this brings those with the CBV into seeing the Spiritual reality of this and how the IBV served a purpose for the big picture. 127 We will need to settle the other issues of a Spiritual Death Only into the full reality that Jesus died for both physical and Spiritual death. 128 Without that last issue resolved there can be no bringing together both parties together in agreement on these things by pulling them out of the refining fire. 129 There are other issues as well that branch off from CBV like the Annihilation View, and Universalism which branches off into New Age you are god and all in all.
Annihilation Vs Torment Forever
130 I believe eternal is forever without end for both Life and damnation. 131 Revelation 20:10 says the Devil, Beast and False Prophet are tormented forever so that means they never get annihilated. 132 Most who have the CBV also believe Satan was annihilated in AD70 as well as anyone who was casted into the Lake of Fire. 133 I believe Satan or the Devil and his Angels will never be annihilated and will always be able to influence people alive here on Earth through the Spiritual realm of evil Spirits. 134 If you don’t believe that you are game for anything. 135 I believe Satan was created as an Angel who fell from the Kingdom of Heaven to the Earth before Adam and Eve were created, then to the Lake of Fire in AD70. 136 Because Satan or the Devil and his Angels are a Spirited beings therefore not human they can not be annihilated but they will stay in the Lake of Fire forever and ever without end in Eternal Condemnation and not be able to repent.
137 The same greek word for eternal (αἰώνιον) in Matt 25:46 is used for eternal damnation and eternal life. If eternal does not mean forever, then that means believers will neither inherit eternal life forever when both either go away to eternal punishment, or the righteous to eternal life.
138 I definitely believe in eternal life is forever therefore conscience torment is forever, if not our hope would be in vain for eternal Life.
139 We may not know all the answers but I’m sure we will find them in the afterlife but who is willing to take a chance here on Earth and find out if they were wrong by assuming forever is not forever is true.
Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
140 When it comes to annihilation you have to consider what is being annihilated, is it just their works that become ashes under their feet or the whole Spiritual body, soul and Spirit. 141 Our soul is reflected in our personality. 142 The Greek word for spirit is pneuma. It refers to the part of man that connects and communicates with God. 143 The soul is the mind, emotions and will that could be killed in the afterlife according to what Jesus said in Matthew 10:28. 144 Our spirit differs from our soul because our spirit is always pointed toward and exists exclusively for God, whereas our soul can be self-centered.
1 Corinthians 3:15If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
1 Corinthians 3:13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.
145 Matthew 10:28 is an interesting text. 146 Now does that mean God can kill the physical body or Spiritual body that happened after physical death. 147 And does the soul that God can kill, is it the soul we have now in a physical body or the Spirit that returns to God after we physical die. 148 And was hell in Hades or the Lake of Fire..?
149 They were in Hades when Jesus said this, but tormented in the Lake of Fire after they were raised from the dead to face judgment first before going to the Lake of Fire were they were tormented and had no rest day or night according to Revelation 14:11
150 God could have chosen to annihilate the Devil and his Angels but instead God prepared a place for them and those who are judged for eternal condemnation.
Matthew 25:41“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
151 This verses from Malachi seems to be only speaking of the Judgment in AD70 or would it apply to trample the works of the wicked in the Lake of Fire when connecting with the rest of the scriptures.
Malachi 4:3 You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
Universalism:
152 Universalism take their doctrines to even a more faulty and be far more dangerous path to put our faith and hope in. 153 Universalism assures everyone will be saved from the Lake of Fire after they repent no matter what. 154 I don’t believe repentance in the hereafter is available to anyone, if it was then it would also be possible to rebel against God like Satan did and people could switch back and forth at will which there is no Biblical support for that. 155 Another sacrifice for sins would be impossible after all things were made new for the New Heaven and Earth in AD70 according to Hebrews 10:26-31. 156 According to Universalist, they say forever and eternal is not forever or eternal for the Lake of Fire. 157 But then that puts eternal life for salvation at risk for people to believe because the same word eternal and forever is used.
158 The soul is the mind, emotions and will, that God is able to destroy in the afterlife. 159 That does not He will but eternal condemnation where the conscience would be tormented forever will happen.
Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
The Just Shall Live by Faith in the Things they Hope for:
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
160 As Transcend Full Preterist Worldview and Manifested Sons of God AD70 our Statement of Faith for the New Heaven and Earth stays pretty must on cue with mainline Christianity’s Statement of Faith as much as possible. 161 With the exception for eschatology that is based on all scriptures being fulfilled by AD70 which all Full Preterist believe. 162 We are like a bridge that crosses over the Jordan River into the promised land of the New Heaven and Earth while all other forms of Full Preterism stay behind in the wilderness, and they are anemic within their Preterist views for a worldview. 163 A lot of views some of them have take you down rabbit holes where all these cults exist, whereas we avoid them.
164 The same greek word for eternal (αἰώνιον) in Matt 25:46 is used for eternal damnation and eternal life. 165 If eternal does not mean forever, then that means believers will neither inherit “eternal” life “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. 166 Universalism is false doctrine and robs us hope for eternal life by suggesting eternal is not forever.
167 Our spirit differs from our soul because our spirit is always pointed toward and exists exclusively for God, whereas our soul can be self-centered.
