1 In the scriptures it speaks of the present age in which the first century people lived in which truly ended when Jerusalem and the old covenant temple was destroyed in AD 70. 2 Then it speaks of the age that was to come which began just after the old system vanished away.
3 Most Christians today are still living by their faith and hope that they will sometime soon move into this age that was to come according to when the first century people lived in.
4 They are in a similar way making the same kind of mistakes that the Jewish people have made in not seeing that their Messiah has already come in the flesh but is now a life-giving Spirit.
5 Most scholars of the Bible present things with just two ages of time. The age of sin and death and the age that is to come in the New Heaven and Earth. 6 If we look close enough we can see that there were seven major periods of time that stand out as being separate from each other and here they are.
1. Before Adam and Eve sinned
2. After they sinned until Noah
3.Noah to Abraham
4. Abraham to the forty years in the wilderness with Moses
5. The transitional time of forty years between the
Wilder-ness and entering into the promised land
6. Age of the Kingdom of the Old Covenant in the
promised land
7.Transitional age of forty years between the cross when the
New Covenant began to AD70 when the
Old Covenant world ended
8. The Kingdom age of Jesus Christ and the New Heaven
and Earth Est. in AD70. The Promised land fulfilled in the
spiritual realm and ongoing forever.
7 Eight ages we can see although some may find other things may stand out but we also can see that the pattern of seven appears many times in the scriptures. 8 The number eight stands out as meaning new beginnings.
9 Brother Luther Williams brought to my attention and confirmed something I should have written, here is what he had to say: “I would include such as when God first called Abraham, so I added that in and now it bring it to eight ages. 10 Once God revealed Himself to Abraham, giving him the bread and the wine (flesh and blood) that symbolically enabled him to conceive and sire the Hebrew … See More people through Isaac, it could perhaps be said that a new era began. 11 Matthew, chapter 1, seems to suggest as much, when it reckons the genealogy of Christ from Abraham!”
12 You can notice that Israel’s time of transition in the wilderness to the promised land was a type of transition during the first century’s end of the Old Covenant world and the starting of another New Covenant world, which took place with the creation of a new man.
13 This happen during the seventh age, the number seven speaks of completeness and Sabbath rest.
14 For forty years Israel wandered in the desert with promises to look forward to, just like the first century saints waited forty years. 15 It was during these periods of transitional time God did many miracles both in the wilderness and during the time between the cross and coming Judgment in AD70.
16 Also during this period of transitional time in the first century two covenant systems were in operation. 17 Right after Jesus died on the cross the New Covenant began to operate and increase in the unseen realm while the Old Covenant system was operating in the seen realm but vanishing away.
18 Today we have people who only acknowledge the seen realm, which is why we have so much confusion in the world with a futuristic view, but in Christ the true has been revealed to those who can see spiritual realities. 19 However it takes time for people to grow spiritually but if they keep their hearts and minds open God will reveal many things that many will never see.
Part 2
The Eighth Age
20 I remembered when I was a futurist I believe in the theory that one day represented a 1000 years and that we are at the end of 6000 years since creation and we are about to enter into the last 1000 years of seven. 21 The last day or 1000 years represented being with Christ for a Sabbath 1000 years in the New Heaven & Earth. 22 One of the big problems with that theory is what happens after the 1000 years of rest which is to last forever.
23 I believe now, that what I wrote about the Eight Ages of Time, Part 1 one makes more sense and fits within a Full Preterist view.
24 In part two I want to mainly deal with the eighth age and the role Jesus has in it. 25 In the eighth age known as the age that we now have been living in since AD70 as the age of the New Heaven and Earth and new beginning with All Things Made New.
26 I believe that the role of what the Father had been doing was changed and that the Father has once again entered into the rest He enjoyed the day after He created Adam and Eve. 27 That day was known as the seventh day in which God rested from His labor and enjoyed His creation.
28 Just because God wrote the Ten Commandments with the Sabbath Day to be kept holy on the seventh day does not mean that God only rested one day a week like the children of Israel had to did.
29 The rest that God entered into on the seventh day I believe He was going to be enjoying it everyday and forever and extended into the eighth figurative day and beyond, until Adam and Eve sinned that is. 30 In other words God did not have to go back to work. 31 He left Adam and Eve in charge of His creation and they were to have dominion over it.
32 It wasn’t until Adam and Eve sinned that God went back to work and slain a lamb to cover Adam and Eve. 33 Had it not been for that God would have enjoyed all those years in rest between the day Adam sinned and handing down His power and authority to His Son Jesus Christ.
34 When God became manifested in the flesh through Jesus Christ, After Jesus was baptized by John, the Father handed down all authority to His Son. 35 Jesus said thatHe did what He saw the father doing and that He was one with Him. 36 Even to the point where everyone was to listen to only Jesus because a new order was been instituted known as the New Covenant. 37 Listening to Moses and Elijah, became history when the Father spoke this is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him
Matthew 17:5
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ” This is My beloved Son , in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”
38 In the Old Covenant the people of Israel did not want God to be their King so God allowed them to appoint Saul to be their king.
1 Samuel 8:19
. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, “No, but we will have a king over us,
1 Samuel 8:20
that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.”
39 According to Paul he called Jesus Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords.
1 Timothy 6:13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and [before] Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,
15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honour and everlasting power. Amen.
40 In order to understand that whom no man has seen or can see, Jesus we must consider Jesus not according to the flesh because Jesus had become a life-giving Spirit.
2 Cor 5:16
Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh . Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh , yet now we know [Him thus] no longer.
41 In the Old Covenant the Father was the one who showed all the authority and the nation of Israel dealt directly to Him through a prophet. 42 The people back then did not know God directly.
43 After Jesus came, that all changed, and we now can know both the Father and Son in a way that is closer then flesh and blood. 44 We can know them by His Spirit dwelling within us.
Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ” All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
John 17:2
“as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3″And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
45 In the Old Covenant the Father was the Judge but now Jesus Christ is
Romans 14:10
But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the Judgment seat of Christ .
2 Cor 5:10
For we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
46 With all that said we do not have to worry about being judged if we judge ourselves and that is not leaving out the fact that Jesus was judged in our place and bore the punishment we deserved.
1 Cor.11
27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks [this] cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many [are] weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
47 Being chastened by the Lord is different than being condemned with the world.
Conclusion:
48 Mankind has lived through many different ages in time and we have come to the point where all vision and prophecy are a thing of the past when all scripture was fulfilled in AD70 while at the same time being open to what is still ongoing from the new order which was set by Jesus Christ concerning His Kingdom in the New Heaven and Earth.
49 With Rome being the beast likened to iron and apostate Israel the clay mixed in with the iron according to the book of Daniel 2 there is no two thousand year gap waiting for the Kingdom of God to appear because the Kingdom of God is invisible.
Daniel 2:44 “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 “Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold — the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”
50 The Kingdom of Jesus Christ as been increasing ever since the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed showing that He is victorious over His enemies who killed Him and persecuted the saints.
51 To those who are waiting for a physical Kingdom to appear and for Jesus to be crown the King, must also say Jesus did not know what He was talking about in:
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
52 And Paul also when he told Timothy Jesus was already King of kings and Lord of lords in: 1 Timothy 6:13
53 Although I believe the Father has once again entered into that rest that would also extend beyond the seventh day He once enjoyed in the Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve sinned after the Feast of Tabernacles was fulfilled in AD70, he still has power and authority as always but has His Son doing the work. 54 Jesus only does what He sees as the Father’s will and does that only.
55 The main difference though from times during the ages of sin and death is that Jesus does things according to showing grace and fullness of truth without an types and shadows that were present before in order to show mankind what is ongoing in the spiritual realms.
John 16:25
” These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.
56 For the last two thousand years Jesus has been speaking through a few people throughout the last two centuries here could hear what the Spirit was saying to them, who have had the truth about how things were fulfilled in the spiritual realm in plain language.
57 But as always, not all will understand or perceive spiritual realities because they have not grown to be spiritually minded to receive it.
58 Most have been brainwashed by the traditional teachings handed down by carnal minded men who though maybe well educated in scripture have doctrines similar to those of the Pharisees in the first century that Jesus warn the disciples about.
59 Perhaps what is needed is a real eye opener for them to see that all things will never happen, as futurist say things will. 60 Sad to say, but maybe the extremely radical Muslims will do something that will remove all their expectations at the site where a so-called Ezekiel’s Temple must be built. 61 It most likely is just a matter of time before the Preterist view really takes off, and then mainline Christianity take hold of it as no other choice.
June 10th 2022 Addition:
61 There are just basically two Bible Ages. 62 The first was from the Tree of Knowledge and the death as a result which was cast into the Lake of Fire marking the new Age that was to come where we can enter in the gates to the Tree of Life for eternal life for face the second death.
1 Corinthians 2:6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
63 In Ephesians 2:7 it mentions the ages to come.
Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
64 In that regard I see it as the New Heaven and Earth not as an Age but as the everlasting Kingdom of God with no end that will have many so Ages that it will not be able to be numbered. 65 Every Age lasts for about 2,160 years in it.
66 We are either entering into the Age of Aquarius or already in it. 67 Back at the end of the Age of the Old Covenant they were going out of the Age of Aries and the New Heaven & Earth began with the dawning of the age of Pieces. 68 The old Hebrew culture along with many other cultures used the Stars to tell them the time for months and probably years and ages.
69 The New Heaven & Earth of Eternal Life will never end it remain forever. However it will have may ages to come within it.
70 Don’t get all hung up about it because the New Heaven & Earth of Eternal Life will never end it remain forever. 71 One guy did when he was here trolling around on his mission to expose what I had written in the description of my Facebook group, after he blocked me because I stopped him from having a delicious meat of some lambs that he was trying to devour. 72 But I stopped him from doing that with the rod of iron and now he is just licking his wounds and trying to get back at me and this is for those of you who seen it and know what I’m talking about. 73 There seems to be a bit of interest out there about the Ages of time so I dug up this article I wrote back in 2010 and decided to post it.
