Immortality Vs. Mortality of the Spirit, Soul & Spiritual Body

1 This article will be with the understanding that the immortality Vs. Mortality of the physical body that I fully believe is only Mortal and returns the Earth at physical death and the Spirit returns back to God who gave it.

2 Apart from God’s word I would probably have to decline from answering any questions on what is the difference between the Spiritual body that is immortal versus Spiritual body that is mortal. 3 When it comes to the unseen realm or the hereafter what I solely base my views on is God’s word because I have no proof of anything based on my own personal experience or someone else’s. 4 The words immortal, incorruptible, forever and eternal mean basically the same thing but may have different applications for their use.

5 When Jesus spoke of eternal life He was not meaning it with a mortal physical body. 6 Paul said that when the body is raised it is raised a Spiritual body in 1 Corinthians 15:44-45. 7 Paul also said that flesh and blood can not enter into the Kingdom of God in the hereafter in verse 50. 8 Jesus said that in the Age to come they would be like the Angels in the hereafter instead of disembodied souls in Hades which was cast into the Lake of Fire in AD70.

9 So with this understanding these verses of scripture make sense but if you believe in a physical resurrection for the body it would appear to be out there in the twilight zone in a fantasyland of a physical Kingdom of God. 10 Where the unjust burn up in the flames of a literal Hell. according to mainstream Christianity who dwell in outer darkness as they go through the refining fire while alive on Earth. 11 I said that so you will know I do not ascribe to that, as I see the Kingdom of God as invisible and in the Spiritual realm as the reality.

12 When Jesus said whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die, that would mean that the hereafter plays a role in never die. 13 That would also mean that there is a death in the hereafter otherwise it would not matter whether anyone believed in Him or not.

John 11:26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

14 Jesus addresses eternal life with knowing the only true God, so it is not about living life forever in your physical body. 15 Life is more than that, it is about knowing the only true God and when we love the brethren.

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16 God is able to destroy both body and soul in hell but from what I just said before the body is not a physical body that Jesus was referring to. 17 He was referring to the Spiritual body after being resurrected and eternal condemnation.

Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Mark 3:29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”

18 In Matthew 5:29 Jesus was saying that if your right hand or your right eye cause you to sin to cut it off or pluck out your eye. 19 Since when have we ever saw anyone who believes in a physical bodied resurrection with body part cut off of themselves. 20 When I was an assistant Pastor I knew a young man who I was consoling with that was a child molester who did just that. 21 He also claimed to be a Christian and so that he would never molest a child again he cut off his body parts by himself so there not be the 35th victim of his crimes through his personal baby sitting job. 22 But that was the only person who I ever knew that took what Jesus said literally with a razor blade twice. 23 Sad thing is this man lived to tell his story but Jesus never meant for us to literally cut off body parts nor was He speaking of a literal physical hell that would burn flesh and bone forever. 24 He was speaking of the Spiritual body in the hereafter being cast into the Lake of Fire which is also a Spiritual place that was prepared for the Devil and his Angels in AD70, but those who were judged as goats in Matthew 25:30 also were cast where Devil and his Angels are.

Matthew 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, then for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, then for your whole body to be cast into hell.

Matthew 25:41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

25 There are three main views on the hereafter and they are:

1 Annihilation

2 Eternal Conscience Punishment “Torment”

3 Universal Salvation

26 Most mainline Full Preterist generally believe in Annihilation  that also have the Corporate Body View CBV. 27 The next two most common views would be the Individual Body View IBV and most of them generally believe in Eternal Conscience Punishment “Torment”.

28 Then the last common view is the Universalist Preterist that believe everyone one will be saved after they see Jesus in His Spiritual body will be convinced and then repent after they have already died.

29 The least common view is what I believe and it is a combination of Annihilation and Eternal Conscience Punishment “Torment”. 30 I see Universal Salvation as something that needed to be redefined in order for the truth in that to show and that was everyone was saved from the curse of the laws that came from the Tree of Knowledge whether it was the Mosaic laws or laws Gentiles had unto themselves. 31 That salvation all were saved from Age of Corruption from Adam’s sin and death in AD70 at the end of the Age of Corruption but there is the Lake of Fire to be saved from now in this Age of the New Glorious Creation. 32 So Universal Salvation has no place now in the New Heaven and Earth’s eternal Age but if we return back to God before we die and confess our sin forgiveness will be granted like the Prodigal son did, except for blaspheme of the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” [g]says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Mark 3:28 “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”— 30because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”

Matthew 12:32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come..

33 From all that I have gathered the conclusion that I see though do not ascribe to it completely, because as I said in the opening statement of this article: When it comes to the unseen realm or the hereafter that is what I solely base my views on because I have no proof of anything based on my own personal experience, but I only try to understand it based on God’s word and my conclusion is this. 34 After someone has been cast into the Lake of Fire they are tormented just for a season. 35 Maybe until the last person they ever knew dies then they might be Annihilated. 36 I don’t know but in order for other things to fit in that are mentioned in the scriptures that are on this subject, it is possible for the Spirit, soul and Spiritual body of the unjust to be burnt to ashes figuratively speaking. 37 I’m just going to post a few scriptures on that right here that guided me into believing in both a time of Conscience Punishment “Torment” possibly forever and a possibility of Annihilation after a time of torment.

38 I don’t quite believe in a Eternal Conscience Punishment that would last forever because in my understanding that would mean they would live forever with no second death:

Revelation 14:10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

Malachi 4:3 You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,
Says the Lord of hosts.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

Matthew 3:12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Matthew 13:29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’

Clothed with Immortality:

39 After the first century saints were filled with the Spirit their Spirit was clothed with immortality but their physical bodies were not. 40 Their clothed Spirit was a guarantee that their bodies would be raised immortal but not their physical body. 41 I new kind of body would be further clothed with immortality that would be a Spiritual body just like the Angels and Jesus now have after He became a Life-giving Spirit before His Ascension into Heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
