The Second Appearing of Christ in AD70

April 21/2021

1 The most amazing thing about the Coming of the Lord in His Glory can be proven that it had to have happened in AD70 by seeing it in the Seven Feast of the Lord in Leviticus 23 especially during the Fall Feasts when the Feast of Trumpets, Feast Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles all played on for their fulfillments in AD70. 2 This is why you will see me mentioning them a lot in my articles.

3 These verses are to people in the 1st century, not to us 2000 years later and still waiting.

Imminence verses

AD 65-68 Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must SHORTLY COME to PASS; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Rev 22 10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, BECAUSE the TIME is NEAR!

Matthew 16:28 Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Matt. 10:23″You shall not finish going through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man comes.”

Matt. 26:64 “From now on, you Caiaphas, the chief priests, the scribes, the elders, the whole Sanhedrin] shall be seeing the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Matt 24:24 Jesus said “Truly I tell you, this GENERATION will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.”

AD 49 Gal 4:4 Paul wrote “The fullness of time was come”

AD 57 1 Cor. 7:29 Paul wrote -“Time is short”

1 Cor. 7:31 The world in its present form is passing away”

AD 58 Paul wrote – Rom 13:11-12 “Understand the present time: …because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here”

AD 58 Paul wrote – Rom 16:20 “The God of peace will SOON (shortly) crush Satan under your feet”

AD 60 James wrote – James 5:8-9 “be patient and stand firm, because the LORD’S COMING is NEAR (at hand)…The judge is standing at the door!”

AD 65 The writer of Hebrews wrote – Hebrews 1:2 “but in THESE LAST DAYS he (God) has spoken to us by his Son….”

AD 65 The writer of Hebrews wrote – Hebrews 10:37 “In just a very very little while, ‘ He who is coming will come and will NOT DELAY….'”;

AD 65 The writer of Hebrews wrote – Hebrews 10:37 “In just a very very little while, ‘ He who is coming will come and will NOT DELAY….'”; Hebrews 10:25 “as you see the DAY approaching”

AD 65-67 – Peter wrote 1 Peter 4:7 “The end of all things is AT HAND.”

AD 65-67 – Peter wrote 1 Pet. 4:17 “For it is time for judgment to begin with the house of God…”

AD 67-68 – John wrote 1 John 2:18 “Little children, this IS the last hour… it IS the last hour”

In 66.5-70ad (3.5 years) Luke 21:20 Rome surrounded Jerusalem for God’s promised judgment.

4 The “cloud” imagery was the OT prophetic way of saying that God was going to wreak his vengeance and pour out judgment on a nation. 5 God is said to “ride on the clouds” and be “Coming in the clouds”…..but God never showed up physically. 6 So when the NT prophets (including Jesus) talk about Him coming “in the clouds” it doesn’t mean He is going to show up physically in literal clouds. 7 It’s the same Jewish prophetic imagery that the OT prophets used.

8 Josephus in his account of the miseries of Jerusalem that grew worse and worse said: “there were seen chariots and troops of soldiers in their armour running about the clouds, surrounding the city.” 9 There was also a man who cried “Woe, woe, against Jerusalem” for the time of seven years and five months. It is well observed by Josephus that God’s judgment had come upon that generation.

10 To start with before we examine this closely we need to consider these two facts because in a nutshell this would totally solve the mystery of the Second Coming that so many have missed just like the Jews missed out on their Messiahs first coming. 11 The only difference was the first was a physical coming with Jesus Christ as God manifested in the flesh and the second with Jesus Christ appearing as a life giving Spirit. 12 That principle of interruption is in accordance to

1Corinthians 15:46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.

13  As long as the Temple stood the second appearing of Christ coming in the clouds of glory could not happen back in the first century. 14 Secondly we must ask ourselves this one main thing which is the key to it all. What would happened in the Spiritual realm the moment that the walls of the Temple no longer stood according to Hebrews 9:8.

15 The answer : Everyone including the unjust dead were resurrected and have been in God’s presence and will remain that way forever seeing that the wall of separation between God and mankind had been removed. 16 When the Temple and it’s walls were destroyed in AD70, that was a sign and the time of Christ’s second appearing and the resurrection of the dead occurred that was the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets. 17 Then when the Feast Day of Atonement which followed was a sign  Jesus had entered into the Most Holy Place according to the pattern of the Tabernacle in Moses’s day after the Temple no longer stood that the Father had accepted the blood that His Son Jesus Christ had brought into the Father’s presence. 18 Christ had already made all of mankind alive and risen from the death before the Feast Day of Atonement that separation mankind from God that Adam had brought to all of mankind that we all inherited from him so that they could be judged and rewarded accordingly to each one of them.

19 God used the prophecies and the sanctuary service of the Old Testament to explain the judgment and what would be the beginnings of the New Age that was to come. 20 After the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ there was only one thing that prevented the Second Appearing of the Lord and that was the Temple still standing according to the pattern of the Tabernacle in Moses’s day. 21 As long as the Temple stood Jesus could not enter or exit the Most Holy Place with His blood to be presented to the Father for acceptance in order to fulfill the Feast Day of Atonement which all of the first century saints waited for for complete redemption from the Age that they were living in. 22 If it was not accepted then there would have never been salvation from the curse of the law. 23 This was to be done according to the pattern of the things that were done during the Old Covenant times with the annual ceremonial requirements that the High Priest had to do on the Feast Day of Atonement. 24 During the time between Pentecost and the Temple being destroyed people were being saved by faith unto that Day of Atonement’s fulfillment when Jesus as the High Priest presented His blood. 25 The day that happened was the day of a new beginning in that all of the world no longer would be subjects of being under the curse of the Old Covenant laws and the New Heaven and Earth was celebrated with the Feast of Tabernacles being fulfilled.

26 Let this sink in because since when has anyone been under any curse of the Old Covenant laws especially if they were never under them or had them given to them aside from Israel…?

27 Jesus spoke of a time when the law would pass away. It was when the Old Heaven and Earth passed away.

Mathew 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

28 When the temple no longer stood and a New Heaven and Earth emerged and all things were made new. 29 Since when has anyone needed to be born again out from the Spiritual Death Adam brought to mankind which brought forth those laws of the Old Covenant especially after Christ had made everyone alive after the Temple no longer stood…?

30 When the Temple stood they were dead  before coming to faith in Christ according to:

Ephesians 2:1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

31 If Herod’s Temple was still standing up to this day, Jesus would still be waiting to present His blood and we all would still be living with the same faith that the first century saints had and would be waiting for salvation to be made complete as most Christians do today. 32 They were still waiting not really knowing that their salvation has been made complete.

33 It’s a sad note on humanity that Christians today have missed out on the truth of the Second Appearing on Christ just like the Jews back in the first century missed out on the first appearing of the Messiah. 34 Can it be any wonder that both groups of people can not be worshipping God in Spirit and in truth until they come to acknowledge the truth that we have been living in the New Age of the New Heaven and Earth since the time that the Feast of Tabernacles was fulfilled in AD70.

35 In order to understand how the Second Appearing was fulfilled back in AD70 let’s go back and take a look at the things which foreshadowed this event.

The Day of Atonement

36 God’s work of salvation, judgment, and restoration can be too huge to grasp. That’s why He gave us a miniature representation of the sanctuary service, set up during Moses’ lifetime.

37 Everything in the sanctuary, from the articles of furniture to the rituals and practices of its services, pointed to Christ and His plan to redeem and save humanity. 38 The sanctuary’s articles of furniture typified actual places in heaven. 39 The Ark of the Covenant typified God’s throne in heaven. 40 The feasts and rituals signified what God would do through Christ on Earth.

41 The Day of Atonement was the final cleansing of the sanctuary–the day God officially removed the record of sin standing between Him and His people. 42 On that day which was a yearly event, anyone who had not confessed his sin and made things right with God was put away from the Israelites. It was the most solemn day of the year.

43 Similarly, on the antitypical Day of Atonement, the heavenly sanctuary was likewise cleansed of the record of humanity’s sins since the beginning of time. 44 What took one day a year in the sanctuary service on Earth, took place after the walls of the temple which separated God from mankind no longer stood. 45 This happened what most say was the 10th day of August AD70. 46 The day when Jesus entered into the Most Holy Place with His blood just like the High Priest did once a year but when Jesus did it, it was the final entry and salvation was made complete after the Temple no longer stood.

47 Now let’s take a step back to when there were Limitations of the Earthly Service.

Hebrews 9:6 Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. 7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance;8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.

48 Now notice this that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing. That means that the second appearing of Christ could not happen while the first temple stood because Jesus had to enter into the Most Holy Place in the Heavenly realm and not the temple which stood on the Earth. 49 The earthly Temple was just a model of the Spiritual reality of what was happening in the Spiritual realm. 50 After the Temple no longer stood the way into the Heaven was open for Jesus to enter with His own blood and this is where we have the appearing of Christ a second time. 51 Other words to describe this event are The Second Coming of the Lord, The Returning of Jesus Christ, Coming in the Clouds of Glory just to name a few but with these event many other things happened as well in order to fulfill all Bible prophecies. 52 I think the reason why in Hebrews 9:8 where it says that the Holy Spirit indicating this, that is was in accordance to the pattern of the Tabernacle in Moses’s day when Leviticus was written in though throughout the first century they were living with the Tabernacle of David being restored so that the Gentiles could come to faith in Christ and be born again.

53 Jesus gave them an indication when the Temple would no longer be standing in:

The Destruction of Jerusalem

Luke 21 :20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

The Coming of the Son of Man

25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

54 After the Temple no longer stood Jesus was allowed entry to appear in the presence of God with His blood.

Hebrews 9:24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another— 26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

55 I’m writing this article to show beyond a shadow of doubt that we have been living in the New Age of the New heaven and Earth, actually we are now either in the Second New Age or about to enter into it which is the Age of Aquarius. 56 Since AD70 up to now the world was in the Age of Pisces. The scriptures mention about ” the Ages to Come” in Ephesians 2:7 that followed the Age that they lived in at the time in the Old Heaven and Earth when they were under the Old Covenant which was the Age of Aries.

57 The Old Covenant was made obsolete through the shed blood of Jesus Christ but in Hebrews 8:13 it says that it was still vanishing away so long as the Temple stood. 58 The Temple was symbolic of separation between God and Man and Ephesians 2:14 calls it the middle wall of separation. 59 The middle wall was in between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place where God’s presence dwelt with the Arc of the Covenant.

60 When the Temple in AD70 was destroyed by God through the Roman Armies it was also a sign of the Resurrection of the Dead taking place with all of mankind being made alive by Christ and by being in His presence which fulfilled the Feast of Trumpets. 61 Therefore not being separated in Spiritual Death that Adam brought to all of mankind by being made alive by Christ. 62 No Temple wall standing, meant no Old Covenant Laws which sin was measured by but we do have New Laws after All Things Were Made New. 63 The Laws of the Spirit which are the Fruits of the Spirit that fulfills the law to love one another and to love God with all of our heart. 64 When we have the Fruits of the Spirit to live by there is no need to have Laws telling us what not to do because having the Fruits of the Spirit fulfill the Old Covenants commandments, therefore making them obsolete though they were vanishing away during the first century before the Temple no longer stood.

Audience Relevance

65 How lets go back and take a look at a few of the audience relevant scriptures that Jesus spoke to to the people of His time that He walked on the Earth and see if they make sense that His Second Appearing was to happen during the first century generation and not ours.

Matthew 16:27-28

27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. 28 Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

Matthew 24

Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple

1 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Matthew 24:33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

The Destruction of Jerusalem

Luke 21:20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

1 Peter 4:7

Serving for God’s Glory But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

Revelation 22:10

And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

Revelation 22:12

Jesus Testifies to the Churches “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

1 Cor. 13 foretold of a change to come and putting away of childish things once the perfect had come.

Revelation 11: 1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.

1 Cor. 13 : 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

66 It is not my intention to bring judgment or shame to anyone today but many of the things we were taught were past day truths which do not belong for us today. 67 Rather than pointing the finger and saying I’m right and you all are wrong my intentions are to open our eyes and see where we can learn from the mistakes made in the past so that we do not repeat them and continue down the path or error. 68 Many of the things which the first century Saints did like water baptism and being born again were things done to transition them out from the Spiritual Death that they all inherited from Adam which meant that they were separation from God had vanished away in a twinkling of an eye the moment that the Temple no longer stood. 69 Those who still lived according to the ways that the Saints did in the first century nowadays are actually living in Spiritual darkness because they are not living in the light of present day truth. 70 The Outer Courts were not to be measured for the New Age that was to come but were to be trampled on by the Gentiles which was done by the Roman Armies. 71 The first century Saints lived by the faith that they had in waiting for their salvation to be made complete after the Temple no longer stood when the Feast Day of Atonement would take place and being the final one Jesus Christ would have entered into the Most Holy Place in the Heavenly realm and present His blood to the Father to be accepted. 72 After that event when the Temple no longer stood and the blood of Jesus was accepted by the Father the dynamics of the Spiritual realm for the New Age that was to come, had all things became new. 73 To be stuck in this situation as most Christians today are in, they by the laws of the Spirit are in the process of needing to be refined by God so that they can abide in the truth so that they can worship God in Spirit and in truth. 74 To be in God’s presence today is to be in the presence of someone who is a consuming fire and we all are in His presence and we all have been baptized in fire whether like it or believe it or not. 75 The consuming fire that God is will continue to consume everything which is not meant for the Kingdom of Heaven in the New Heaven and Earth where all things have been made new. 76 When we are at rest and abiding in Christ we are not going through the refining fire and it is like the Sabbath Day where no fire was permitted. 77 The only things that remain from the days of old are faith, hope and love but not according to the Old Age’s ways because of present day truth and the things that they hoped for back in the first century were fulfilled. 78 Faith opens the door to a Spiritual mind and heart while at the same time cuts away the things of the fleshly carnal mind and the works that follow that, so that we can be in tune with God and obey His Law of Love which are the Fruits of the Spirit. 79 The things that we have faith in today in the Spiritual realm should be differ from what the first century Saints had because our faith and hope must be in all the things that are made new, for the New Age we live in order to be of Spirit and truth. 80 Only what is of God will pass through the fire and not be consumed by it. When we have the Fruits of the Spirit where love for one another and love God with all our heart, we will be like either gold, silver or bronze which does not get consumed in the refining fire of His presence because it’s those things which conform us into the image of Christ.

81 In the Outer Court there was the Brazen Alter where all the animal sacrifices were done. This foreshadowed Jesus shedding His own blood which made all of the animal sacrifices obsolete. 82 Then there was the Laver for washing which foreshadowed water baptism and maybe this is what Apostle John saw as the Lake of Fire when you consider this that in what Ezekiel saw according to what people call Ezekiel’s Temple, there were kitchens where the ministers of the temple shall boil the sacrifices of the people that surrounded the outer edges of the Outer Court.

Ezekiel 46:21 Then he brought me out into the outer court and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and in fact, in every corner of the court there was another court.

24 And he said to me, “These are the kitchens where the ministers of the temple shall boil the sacrifices of the people.”

83 It all adds up to what John may have saw and called the Lake of Fire with the Laver as a lake along with the boiling waters surrounding it.

God’s Kingdom Has Three Domains

84 In God’s Kingdom there are three domains. The Heavenly realm, the Earth and the Under Earth. In the Temple there was The Most Holy Place, The Holy Place and the Outer Courts which were not to be measured. 85 The ministry of the Outer Court has no place in the Heavenly realm for the New Heaven and Earth because of this :

Revelation 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

86 The Outer Court ministry was all about death, sorrow, crying and pain where blood was shed for the sins people committed. 87 The New Heaven and Earth does not have the shedding of blood for sins but it does have fire and that is what we are save by nowadays in order to be in the image of Christ. 88 We go through the refining fire when we confess of sins. 89 We also go through the refining fire when others bring us into being accountable for our doings. 90 This fire is not a Hell Fire that people have been falsely taught where people get physically burned up roasted and toaster forever for not being a believer. 91 The Lake of Fire where the unjust are cast into is the Kingdom of Darkness which is where their Spirit goes and it is a Spiritual place that `they go to because the Kingdom of Heaven is restricted to them to enter after they choose not to be a part of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Look at how Clouds were Used Spiritually in Scripture:

92 Here is an article I saved from a long time ago. 93 I did not save who the name of the people who wrote it but it could have been written by Terry Cropper who gave it to me. 94 It has some very important information on how Jesus would have appeared a second time in the clouds of glory like the Father did back during Old Testament times. 95 His appearing in the clouds was a Spiritual appearing term used and not meant to be taken in a physical meaning. Instead it was usually used to represent a day of wrath and vengeance upon Israel for being disobedient in Old Covenant times.

96 Look at how “clouds” is used by the Jewish prophets….and yet God NEVER showed up physically.

Deuteronomy 33:26

“There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty.

Job 22:14

Thick clouds veil him, so he does not see us as he goes about in the vaulted heavens

Job 37:13

He brings the clouds to punish men, or to water his earth and show his love.

Psalm 18:12

Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning.

Psalm 68:4

Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds — his name is the LORD— and rejoice before him.

Psalm 97:2

Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

Psalm 104:3

and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind.

Jeremiah 4:13

Look! He advances like the clouds , his chariots come like a whirlwind, his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us! We are ruined!

Ezekiel 30:3

For the day is near, the day of the LORD is near— a day of clouds , a time of doom for the nations

Ezekiel 30:18

Dark will be the day at Tahpanhes when I break the yoke of Egypt; there her proud strength will come to an end. She will be covered with clouds , and her villages will go into captivity.

Daniel 7:13

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.

Joel 2:2

a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come.

Zephaniah 1:15

That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness

97 The “cloud” imagery was the OT prophetic way of saying that God was going to wreak his vengeance and pour out judgment on a nation. 98 God is said to “ride on the clouds” and be “Coming in the clouds”…..but God never showed up physically. 99 So when the NT prophets (including Jesus) talk about Him coming “in the clouds” it doesn’t mean He is going to show up physically in literal clouds. 100 It’s the same Jewish prophetic imagery that the OT prophets used. 101 Remember, these are ALL JEWS we’re talking about. 102 They understood EXACTLY what Jesus meant when He said He was “coming in the clouds”. 103 They knew He meant that He was going to pour out judgment on them.

Yes, He did. He also said :

John 16:7

But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away , the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you

104 Yes, He was talking to the disciples. He was telling them that even though He was going away for a while (40 years) that He was sending them another comforter who would be with them until He returned. 105 So therefore, He wasn’t leaving them or forsaking them. 106 They wouldn’t be alone for those 40 years of “wilderness wandering”. 107 God the Spirit would be with them (just like the cloud was with them in the desert of Sinai in the OT for 40 years) as a deposit guaranteeing what was to come….. And just like the OT Yeshua (Joshua) after 40 years led them into the Promised Land, the NT Yeshua (Jesus) after 40 years came back and led HIS children into the spiritual Promised Land…….the Eternal Kingdom. 108 Since then it has been a spiritual reality and an ever increasing kingdom.

109 Now here is what Josephus saw during the time of the end of the Age as the Temple was being destroyed in AD70

God’s Army Running about the Clouds

Josephus

Book 5, Chapter 6, Section 3

The Miseries Within the City

The apostle John tells us in Relegation that he beheld and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth (Rev. 8:13.)

110 Then he tells us he saw locusts, who shapes were like horses prepared for battle. They had breastplates as iron and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle (Rev. 9:7-9).

111 Josephus in his account of the miseries of Jerusalem that grew worse and worse said: “there were seen chariots and troops of soldiers in their armour running about the clouds, surrounding the city.” 112 There was also a man who cried “Woe, woe, against Jerusalem” for the time of seven years and five months. It is well observed by Josephus that God’s judgment had come upon that generation.

113 Here is an example how those will a Futurist view will put their spin on Revelation 1:7 for a future event where the whole planet will see Jesus coming in the clouds.

Revelation 1:7Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Zechariah 12:10“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

114 Zechariah did not say in that day there shall be a great mourning in the whole planet, and the whole planet will look on Me whom they pierced; it says the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem would mourning and will look on Me whom they pierced. Apostle John draws on Zechariah 12:10 and uses it in Revelation 1:7

We Only Have Three Options for the Second Coming of Christ

115 Most Christians will agree that scripture is given by inspiration of God according to:

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

116 According to the standard of prophecy in the Old Testament is found here:

Deuteronomy 18:18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

117 The Prophet that God was going to raise up was Jesus. Christ.

118 Most Christians today will say that the Lord has not returned yet making the writer of the Book of Hebrews a false prophet. 119 Not only that but is also makes all the other writers including Jesus in the New Testament false Prophets who claimed that His coming was at hand or would happen in a short time. 120  The writer in the Book of Hebrews wrote it around AD65 and said that Jesus would not tarry but we have been living almost 2000 years later and that is a very long time even according to all other prophecies in the Bible.

Hebrews 10: 37 “For yet a little while,
And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. “For yet a little while,
And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.

121 Now here is the problem. Jesus said that there would be some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. 28 Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

122 Some people when put into the corner and out of desperation will say that there are some here standing who were from the first century in order to justify that His coming will happen soon as of today. 123 I believe it is a little far fetched and crazy to say that. 124 Now if it was true we would still be dead in our sins and would be expecting the wrath of God on this Earth. If you are putting the Coming of the Lord into the future you are indirectly calling Jesus a false prophet.

125 We who are Full Preterist say that the Lord did coming in AD70 when the Temple was destroyed and the law came to an end which was at the end of the Age.

126 The reason for the confusion today is because most Christians believe that His coming will be in a physical body return. 127 Now the problem with that is that you make all the Prophets including Jesus Christ out to be false Prophets. 128 If Christ appear when He said He would it would have had to be a Spiritual event that changed the Old Covenant with it’s total destruction after vanishing away into the New Covenant in it’s full glory which is much more important than any physical coming could ever do.

129 Karen Rogers “Quote”: The Message of the Parables of Jesus

1 In the parables, the Master returns to the same ones He speaks to when He leaves (the first century Jews). He is speaking to them of His coming in judgment of the fleshly Old Covenant Israel (old Jerusalem) vs. the Spiritual Israel of the New Covenant (sons by faith = the New Jerusalem/New Covenant/Church). The vessels of wrath (those Jews who rejected Jesus in the first century) vs. the vessels of mercy (those who embraced Him as Lord). The same Master comes back to the same servants. The same Bridegroom returns to the same virgins. The same One who distributed the talents returns to the same ones to whom He gave the talents (first century Jews).

2 The parables are about Jesus leaving for heaven and returning to the same Jews when He came in judgement in  AD 70  to destroy the temple, the sacrifices in the temple (an abomination to God as Jesus was the last sacrifice), the old Levitical priesthood (believers are now the priests of God – 1 Peter 2:9), the vessels of wrath (those who rejected Him), as He put a total end to the Old Covenant system.

3 Jesus promised His followers that when He returned, not one stone would be left of that temple or that system. The stars falling from the sky and cosmic “end of world” language represent the end of a kingdom using Old Testament prophet language (same language used by Isaiah when describing the destruction of Babylon by the Medes: “For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light. The rising sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light.”(Isaiah 13:10) And used by Ezekiel when giving the message to Egypt when Babylon conquered them: “And when I extinguish you,  I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud And the moon will not give its light. (Ezekiel 32:7-8) This was NOT literally the “end of the world” nor is the language of Matthew 24 and Revelation meant to be the end of the world, but the end of Jerusalem and that physical kingdom.

4 Matthew chapters 24 and 25 and the parables are all about the “end of the age – the Old Covenant age” (word is aion for age, not cosmos for world), not the end of the world. It is the “last days’ of the Old Covenant as there are NO last days of His kingdom. His kingdom began then and lasts forever. This judgement was the end of the Old Covenant age and the beginning of the New Covenant eternal “age of Messiah.”

5 These parables were spoken as a message to the first century apostles and first century followers of Jesus to preach the gospel before the “end” or destruction of Jerusalem would come – before the “last days” of the Old Covenant priesthood system when those Jews were destroyed. The “age to come” or “age of Messiah” began with the end of the old age, the Old Covenant age of priesthood, law, sacrifices, temple, and system.  The “you” in Matthew 24, 25 were those alive in the first century – His disciples, His audience (not us). We are reading the words of Jesus to them. These parables were specific to them and tell of His going to heaven and then returning to them in the coming judgment.

6 Of course, we are to continue to preach the gospel and will be judged upon our death, but the parables were specifically written to the Jews of the first century. Of course, the Bible message is “for” us, but the New Testament epistles and gospels were not actually written “to” us today, but to the first century church, who were the “you” of the epistles. The headings of the letters “Philippians” “Corinthians” “Romans” “Thessalonians” “Colossians” prove that these letters were written to them, not to us.

“End Quote”

130 Now here are the three options we have to choose from

1. That there are some here standing who were from the first century that are still waiting

2. That the Lord did coming in AD70 when the Temple was destroyed and the law came to an end which was at the end of the Age

3. That the Lord has not come yet because He has not returned physically
