Intro: Futurist have very little to claim as prophecies being fulfilled in the past, other than the Spring Feasts of the Lord that could be seen it a literal sense while the Fall feasts and events were Spiritual in nature in the unseen realm during the first century. When you think about it the Blowing of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Feast of tabernacles were generally accomplished in the unseen realm but the Spring Feasts were in the seen realm.

I would place the spiritual death and resurrection through water Baptism at the cross for death as the Passover, and the Spiritual resurrection with the Sheaf Wave offering and the deliverance from sin through the Feast of Un-Leaven Bread. There is no way that you can erase this and cast it into the Fall appointed times like what Collective Body View does. It just doesn’t make hermeneutical sense.

I don’t think we can nail down the exact time the Fall Appointed times of Blowing Trumpets, Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles were fulfilled. All we got were the signs to look for like the destruction of the abomination of Desolations and Temple for the taking away of the first so that the second could be established that occurred shortly before those Fall Appointed times would have come. They were pretty well all done in the unseen Spiritual realm like the resurrection of the just and the unjust. All we can assume was that they all did occur on the dates they were design to happen on. We can see where all the Spring appointed times were fulfilled by their occurrences in the natural realm starting with the Passover and Jesus being the sacrifice. Followed by the others and eventually Pentecost at the Upper Room when the Holy Spirit filled those who were waiting for it.

Edward E. Stevens IBV fills all the holes with the Resurrection of the saints in Matthew 27:51-53 and in AD66 for the complete first resurrection of the blessed. As well as the GWTJ resurrection in AD70 for the whole creation of the just and the unjust after the Temple no longer stood.

The CBV has been mistaken for what the confirmation of the New Covenant was about according to Daniel 9:27 and placed the Spring time Feast in there and has made the big mess of the Full Preterist movement and this will be the legacy of the CBV and all those who have supported it. But they all have a choice either to come clean and maybe God will use them in a great way, or face a very harsh reality that is coming their way soon and not 2000 years from now.

Many believe there were Seven Feasts of the Lord but there were only three Feasts.

The Three Appointed Yearly Feasts

2 Chronicles 8:13 according to the daily rate, offering according to the commandment of Moses, for the Sabbaths, the New Moons, and the three appointed yearly feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles.

1 The Fall time Feast and Holy Convocations foreshadowed Christ second coming. Accurate eschatology can be seen in Leviticus 23 in the appointed times for those annual events. 2 The first four began in the Spring time were fulfilled soon after Jesus was crucified; then after 40 years later the last events of the Holy Convocation Days and Feast of Tabernacles were fulfilled between AD66 to AD70 before the Whole Creation of mankind entered into the New Heaven and Earth.

3 The Blowing Trumpets was Holy Convocation Day, And the Day of Atonement was Holy Convocation Day and then The Feast of Tabernacles or Booths all happened in one month of each other. 4 These three events came after the Spring Feasts and Holy Convocation Days which were The Lord’s Passover, The Feast of Un-leaven Bread with the first and seventh days as Holy Convocation Days. 5 The Sheaf Wave of First-Fruits was a Holy Convocation Day within the Feast of Un-Leaven Bread; and 50 days later came the Feast of Pentecost otherwise called Weeks or Shavuot. 6 The anti-type of those four months in between the Fall Feast and the Spring Feasts was a forty year period which was one generation also associated with is signified as the thousand year reign of Christ in Revelation 20. 7 The anti-type of the Fall Feast and Holy Convocations were fulfilled after 40 years from when the Spring Feasts were being fulfilled during the time Christ was crucified to the Day of Pentecost. 8 The Fall Feast and Holy Convocation Days were in type of the events that would occur right at the time of the end of the Age when Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed in AD70

How the Book of Revelation was Wrote:

9 A frame story is a literary technique that serves as a companion piece to a story within a story, where an introductory or main narrative sets the stage either for a more emphasized second narrative or for a set of shorter stories. 10 A good example of Frame Story is in the book of Revelation where John does it throughout the book that seems to have the same series of events that over lap each other. 11 John has the freedom to tell things which he had already seen, and the things which are or were at that time, and the things which will shortly take place after his writing of the book of Revelation.

Revelation 1:19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.

12 The Blowing Trumpets fulfillment began in AD66 when the war broke out between Rome and Israel and the rapture of the saints occurred; then ended in August 10th AD70 when the Temple was destroyed. 13 These events were recorded according to what Josephus a Jewish historian said. 14 The Blowing Trumpets was the first fall time event with the blowing of trumpets was similar to the walls of Jericho coming down as a type according to Joshua 6:1–27. 15 Some interesting things that happened with the walls of Jericho coming down are, that it was one of the first things that happened as soon as Joshua lead God’s people into the promised land. 16 The other things that happened was that God said that if anyone was to rebuild Jericho which could have been in type for old Jerusalem that they would be cursed 17 Jerusalem was first mentioned in the Bible in Joshua 10 where there was a battle and the Sun stood still for 24 hours so that Israel’s armies could defeat Jerusalem and make it the city of God where their Temple would eventually be built.

17 Another very interesting thing that happened as well was that God stopped providing manna for His people to eat as soon as they had first harvest after they entered into the promised land and this is when the Sheaf Wave of the First Fruits began which was 40 years after they were observing all the other appointed times.

The Jubilee Connection Between Pentecost and day of Atonement:

18 The thing that comes to my mind is when the first centuries saints during those 40 years of waiting for the end of the Age with second appearing of Christ in AD70 and the New Heaven and Earth to begin. 19 There was a 50 day wait from the Sheaf Wave of First Fruits to the Feast of Pentecost. 20 Pentecost means 50 and is connected to Jubilee; which in the fulfillment of the type was a forerunner the liberty that the first century saints had by abiding and resting in Christ. 21 The Ultimate fulfillment was through the Day of Atonement when the Whole Creation was delivered out from the bondage of Corruption and into the liberty as children of God or the Offspring of Jesus Christ and His Bride the First Fruits from the first century.

22 The Blowing of Trumpets represented the Day of the Lord; it also represented the sound of the last trump where the dead rise in the second resurrection with both the just and the unjust for judgment with the second appearing of Christ. 23 There were several series Blowing of the Trumpets that signified the announcements of things in the Book of Revelation.

Joel 2:1 Blow a trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm on My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble,
For the day of the Lord is coming;
Surely it is near,

Zephaniah 1:14

Near is the great day of the Lord,
Near and coming very quickly;
Listen, the day of the Lord!
In it the warrior cries out bitterly.

15

A day of wrath is that day,
A day of trouble and distress,
A day of destruction and desolation,
A day of darkness and gloom,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,

16

A day of trumpet and battle cry
Against the fortified cities
And the high corner towers.

Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed

Rev. 11: 15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:

“We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,
The One who is and who was and who is to come,
Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.

18

The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”

19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

1 Corinthians 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

24 The Day of Atonement was a solemn day of fasting that had to be taken very seriously, it was a High Sabbath Day and was a Convocation Day.  25 It was the only day where fasting was required by law and had to be observed. 26 This was fulfilled on the Day of Judgment when Jesus Christ returned as the High Priest who entered into the Most Holy Place that was in the unseen Spiritual realm in Heaven. 27 His blood that was accepted 40 years before by the Father when the veil was torn in the temple when He was on the cross yielding up His Spirit before He spent three nights and days in the belly of the Earth which was Hades and then rose up from the dead on the third day. 28 Though I believe Jesus had entered into the Most Holy Place as soon as He Ascended into Heaven this event at the end of the Age that would deliver the Whole Creation out from the bondage of Corruption could not be done while the Temple still stood according to:

Hebrews 9: 8The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing,

Romans 8:20For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.

29 The Tabernacle of David was restored figuratively in Acts 15 for the first century Church so they could go boldly into the Most Holy Place, but when Jesus was to fulfill the Day of Atonement He did it accordingly to the the pattern of the first Tabernacle. 30 So that is why I believe the Temple had to no longer stand before He could enter into the Most Holy Place after the Temple was destroyed in order to fulfill the Great White Thrown Judgment. 31 Once this was done in the Spiritual realm the Age of Corruption came to an end and the New Glorious Creation began with All Things Made New.

32 On the Day of Atonement there were many animals being sacrificed on that day for the sins of the whole nation of Israel. 33 Before Jesus became that final sacrifice for sins on the cross, animals were used in type of what Jesus would do and the blood of those animals were poured into many bowls or basins.

Revelation 16:1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

34 In Revelation 16 there are seven bowls mentioned there. 35 On The Day of Atonement “Yom Kippur” everything was depending on their sins being forgiven as a nation so that they could go forward with good standing with God with a new regeneration. 36 Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a day-long fast and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services but they have a few serious problems. 37 They have no temple which makes it impossible to keep the law. 38 The other problem they have is that there is no Levitical Priesthood that can be proven because their records were destroyed back in AD70 and by law it required proof of their genealogy in:

Nehemiah 7: 64 These sought their listing among those who were registered by genealogy, but it was not found; therefore they were excluded from the priesthood as defiled.

39 The last Feast was the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths which the antitype is the New Heaven and Earth and the marriage of Christ and the first century Church and when God would tabernacle with His people and fellowship with them. 40 It was required that all the 70 nations of the Earth from Noah had to attend this Feast for a blessing or they would be cured with no rain. Revelation 21 was the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles. 41 This could be seen through the Parable of the Wedding Feast vin Matthew 22:1-14.

Revelation 21: 1Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

42 The number seven plays an important part because it means completeness. 41 In the Book of Revelation there are Seven Churches in chapters 2 and 3. Seven lamps of fire which are the Seven Spirits of God, in Revelation chapter 4 there are Seven Seals, in chapters 6 and 7 Six Trumpets, in chapters 8 and 9 there are Seven Thunders which seem to be Angels in chapter 10, then the last Trumpet in chapter 11 which was the Seventh Trumpet, then the Seven Bowls of wrath in chapter 16.

43 I’m not sure what all of these things meant, but I see a strong connection to the appointed times and Feast that were in the Fall time that summed up the coming of the Lord and the resurrection of the dead for the Day of Atonement”s Great White Throne Judgment. 44 There are a lot of people out there who have made claims to what they mean but most of them were probably wrong and a lot of people use anything to try to prove it hasn’t happened yet.

Conclusion:

45 The Blowing of Trumpets are seen in the Seven Trumpets in Revelation 8-11 which caught my attention because they seem to be associated with the Blowing Trumpets, as well as the walls of Jericho coming down being connected to the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple. 46 It seemed to me that a few of the Seven Trumpet and Seven Bowl events are very similar to the things that happened to Egypt when Moses was dealing with the Pharaoh before he let God’s people go free. 47 Chapter 18 kind of wraps up things with the final destruction of the city and temple to bring the conclusion to the Blowing of Trumpets. 48 One other thing I noticed about that time of events was that according to Josephus the Jewish historian it started in AD66 and went to AD70 then the Day of Atonement’s fulfillment began right after the Temple no longer stood. 49 The Blowing of Trumpets would have been the Day of the Lord coming in power and glory that lasted about three and a half years from the time Jerusalem was surrounded by the Roman armies. 50 Maybe that is what Peter meant by writing this:

2 Peter 3:8But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

The fulfillment of the Day of Atonement in AD70 is seen in:

51 By connecting the dots from Daniel 9:26a & 27 to Matthew 24 we can see this was not about what those who believe in a AD33 fulfillment or a gap from there to AD66 of the 70th Week that they say it is; because Revelation 10:6-7 says there should be delay no longe during that time nor in the future and the mystery of God would be finished. 52 But it does allow a delay between the 62nd week beginning in 538 BC and the 7th week beginning in AD14 for 117 years delay with the last week ending in AD70 because of the three segments of weeks and it would of else they would have known the hour and day.

Matthew 24:36  “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

Matthew 24:50 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know,

Luke 21:20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Revelation 10:6  and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, 7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

Revelation 19:1 Salvation and glory and honour and power belong to the Lord our God! 2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth

53 The Feast of Tabernacles or Booths was fulfilled with all things made new and a view of God’s Kingdom opening up to the Tree of Life which had been off limited during the old Age from Adam to the end of the last days or Age where all the nations of the Earth were included in the New Heaven and Earth. 54 People have a choice to either have faith in Christ and be partakers in His Heavenly domain and eat from the Tree of Life or be outside of gates to the New Jerusalem where they Spiritually dwell in Outer Darkness.

Is the Feast of Tabernacles is Connected to Romans 8:20-23…?

55 The Feast of Tabernacles was a Feast of Joy and a Feast of the Nations all coming together in the presence of the Lord. 56 There were seventy nations that came out from Noah after God destroyed the world by a world wide flood. 57 There were offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings before all the nations of the world and all of these nations were required to attend the Feast of Tabernacles or they would be cursed with no rain.

Zechariah 14:16 Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 17 And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, there will be no rain on them. 18 If the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which the Lord smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

Romans 8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labours with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

58 The imagery here of God delivering His people out of the Egyptian bondage is a type for the Whole Creation being delivered out from the bondage of Corruption. 59 According to Romans 8:20-23 where the antitype fulfillment for the Whole Creation would include being adopted into the liberty of the children of God and receive their redemptive body for the afterlife.

Leviticus 23:42 You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths, 43 that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.’
