Intro: There are a few things that we have to realize before we can come to a full conclusion on when the Day of Atonement was fulfilled.
When Jesus yield up His Spirit the veil of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. If this was the Temple that King Cyrus built then it would have been for a sign what happened in Heaven and the blood that Jesus shed was presented to the Father which would be for the Day of Atonement and all other appointed times where the shedding of blood was required.
When Jesus cried out My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?; then Jesus cried out again with a loud voice yielding up His Spirit the veil of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. I believe this was the beginning of the restoration of the Tabernacle of David. The Tabernacle of David back in the days of King David had the Ark of the Covenant in a three sided tent while the Priest preformed the requires of the law in the Tabernacle of Moses with out the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place.
Acts 15:16 ‘After these things I will return,
And I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen,
And I will rebuild its ruins,
And I will restore it,
17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,’
18 Says the Lord, who makes these things known from long ago.
Jesus would have not entered into the Most Holy Place while on the cross unless it was only His Spirit, but most likely entered into the Most Holy Place immediately after He Ascended to the Father ten days before the Holy Spirit filled the saints on the Day of Pentecost. From the scripture we can determine that Jesus did not Ascend into Heaven while on the cross, He did yield His Spirit to the Father but He spent three nights and on the third day in the heart of the earth where Hades was.
I would say that the Day of Atonement was the blotting out of sin the memory of God. While the blood Jesus Christ shed at the cross provided forgiveness that covered sin. Sin was not blotted out from God’s memory until the transferring of sin upon the scapegoat was complete after the High Priest appeared a second time after he came out of the Most Holy Place and lead the goat into the wilderness.
Nehemiah 4:5 Do not cover their iniquity, and do not let their sin be blotted out from before You; for they have provoked You to anger before the builders
I know some say that Hebrews 9:8 means while the Old Covenant had a standing, but there are to many translations that say while the Tabernacle was still standing. I believe Jesus entered the Most Holy Place in AD70 after the Temple no longer stood as seen signified according to:
Hebrews 9:8the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
Hebrews 10:9then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second.
Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
This was for the Whole Creation to be delivered out from the bondage of Corruption and into the liberty of the children of God for the restoration of all things and a regeneration for the New Heaven and Earth.
Romans 8:19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.
1 The Lord’s Passover and the Day of Atonement “Yom Kippur” appear to have something in common when it comes to the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sins. 2 But when we look deeper we find a picture of God’s redemptive work through Jesus Christ from His first coming, when He willingly died for the sins of the world, to His second appearing when He came again in great power and glory. 3 The Lord’s Passover and Feast of Un-Leaven Bread was the first Feast and it reflects on leaving bondage of sin and death. 4 Then the power of the Feast of Pentecost enables to journey through life to the promised land with being filled with the Holy Spirit. 5 Then in the fall time came the Blowing of Trumpets before the Day of Atonement which was the Judgment Day with the blotting out of all sins so that they were removed from the memory by transferring them on to the scapegoat. 6 Then with the final celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles.
7 The Lord’s Passover and Feast of Un-Leaven Bread is a picture that was a starting point where an individuals sins were covered and forgiven by faith, and then with the Feast of Pentecost being sealed by the Holy Spirit with a promise of redemption with God’s laws written in the heart and mind.
8 The Day of Atonement is a picture of preparation needed for a regeneration and a restoration of all things after seven years of this annual event with what is called the Jubilee year for the nation of Israel. 9 When the Day of Atonement was actually fulfilled in AD70 for the Great White Throne Judgment is was for the Whole Creation for a New Heaven and Earth. 10 According to the type in the Old Covenant the Day of Atonement was just for Israel. 11 But the antitype that was after the resurrection of the just and the unjust was for the whole world so that the whole creation would be delivered out from the bondage of corruption and into the liberty of the children of God.
Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labours with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
Did Christ entering the Most Holy Place Twice, Once for the First Resurrection, and Another for the Great White Throne Judgment Resurrection of the just and unjust…?
12 On one hand Hebrews 9:8 says the Most Holy Place was not made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing which we know was destroyed in AD70. 13 Then on the other hand Hebrews 9:12 says Christ had already entered the Most Holy Place once for all. 14 Could it be that Christ enter the Most Holy Place and presented His blood after He Ascended into Heaven which was 40 days after He rose from the dead. 15 Then Christ came out to meet the saints in AD66 for the first resurrection with this the Atonement for those who were first-fruits who were resurrected, and took them to Heaven after they received their redemptive Spiritual body.
16 Then Jesus enter the Most Holy Place again after the Temple was destroyed it was to make Atonement for the Whole Creation and appeared a second time for the just who were waiting to see Him and be delivered out from Hades. 17 I don’t know how else to explain this mystery so I’m not saying it happened this way for sure, but it seems to make sense. 18 I will take a stand in position that the blood Jesus shed on the cross was all that was required for the Day of Atonement for both situations of both resurrections that came later. 19 The other thing is that the day of Atonement was not fulfilled until the High Priest came out of the Most Holy Place “not when he went into it” and finished the require of transferring the blood on one of two goats to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness. 20 Some people believe everything was fulfilled on the cross including the Day of Atonement and would brand anyone as a heretic for not believing like they do; but it just doesn’t fit the typology in the appointed times and Feasts of the Lord which was God’s redemptive plan for mankind.
Hebrews 9:8the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
Hebrews 9:12Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
21 This subject really matters because the right version of eschatology is based on this and the reason why there is so much misinformation about is because it’s not understood correctly. 22 First thing is that the Day of Atonement did not happen right after the Lord’s Passover “the cross” or at any time during the other Spring Feasts took place. 23 Was the Feast of Pentecost fulfilled at the cross or any of the other appointed times…? 24 No so that should tell us something right there. 25 The appearing of Christ a second time relies on the accurate timing in order for us to know which view out there to believe and there are many and Full Preterist know how far off the Futurist view takes it.
26 There are a few things that we have to realize before we can come to a full conclusion on when the Day of Atonement was and will be fulfilled;
27 When Jesus yield up His Spirit the veil of the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom; If this was the Temple that King Cyrus built then it would have been for a sign what happened in Heaven and the blood that Jesus shed was presented to the Father which would be for the Day of Atonement and all other appointed times where the shedding of blood was required. 28 Jesus would have not entered into the Most Holy Places while on the cross unless it was just His Spirit, but most likely immediately entered in after He Ascended to the Father. 29 From the scripture we can determine that Jesus did not Ascend into Heaven while on the cross, He did yield His Spirit to the Father but He spent three nights and on the third day in the heart of the earth where Hades was.
Matthew 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Matthew 27:50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
The Two Times the Temple was Open in Heaven
30 The first time was at the cross when Jesus yielded up His Spirit in Matthew 27:50 and the second time the Temple in Heaven was opened up for the Day of Atonement and what is called the Great White Throne Judgment with Jesus Christ the High Priest coming out of the Most Holy Place after the Earthly Temple was destroyed.
Hebrews 10:9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.
Revelation 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of [i]His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.
31 There are many who say Atonement was fulfilled at the cross, but if the Day of Atonement was fulfilled at the cross; if you think about it, then when Jesus rose from the dead on the third day would have had to be His second appearing like the High Priest did coming out of the Most Holy Place on the Day of Atonement but three days later. 32 This would not make sense and should make it very clear that the first century Church was still waiting for the Day of Atonement “Judgment” for the salvation of their souls, the adoption and their redemptive body. 33 And that His coming would not take 2000 years and counting but rather be fulfilled when Christ appeared a second time in AD70 when the Temple no longer stood.
Hebrews 10: 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
Romans 8:23 Not only that, but we also who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
Ephesians 1:14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
34 Scriptures like this below make it confusing for many people between whether redemption came at the cross or at the end of the Age when the Great White Thrown Judgment took place on the Day of Atonement. 35 The scriptures below say otherwise that redemption had already come through Jesus’ blood, and that Jesus had entered into the Most Holy Places with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation; but this was written after the cross and after His Ascension into Heaven.
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
Colossians 1:14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Hebrews 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
36 I believe that there are two ways we will be able to understand the differences of how Christ brought redemption for personal sins verses the sins of the nation of Israel; the first way can be seen in the two different events, the Lord’s Passover and the Day of Atonement. 37 When the first century Church were alive during the first century they were forgiven and were individually Spiritually resurrected saints through baptism yet they were waiting for their redemptive Spiritual body that came to them in AD66. 38 That finished the first resurrection for those who had the First Fruits of the Spirit and those who were resurrected after Christ in Matthew 27:51-53, but they all were still waiting for the Manifestation of the Sons of God for the whole world to be delivered from the Age of Corruption and the adoption and redemptive body that was fulfilled in AD70.
39 I believe that we can say that Jesus entered the Most Holy Place after His Ascension into Heaven because He did not ascend into Heaven until then and that is where the Most Holy Place is. 40 Jesus was in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights after He died on the cross when the veil was torn to accept His blood.
The Tabernacle of David
41 The Tabernacle of David that was restored according to the book of Acts is the second way that had an influence as to when Jesus entered into the Most Holy Place aside from at the end of the Age when the Day of Atonement was being fulfilled.
42 Amos did not say that David’s Tabernacle would be restored after the destruction of Jerusalem in AD70 as those with a Pre Millennial view will tell you. 43 Amos lived before Solomon’s Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians and he could have been speaking about any timeframe after that because the Ark of the Covenant also disappeared never to be seen again after it was taken during the Babylon captivity. 44 In 1 Samuel 5 the Ark of the Covenant was also taken before that by the Philistines before Israel had a King and King David brought the Ark to Mt. Zion and pitched a three sided tent for it before King Solomon built a temple for it to be placed in. 45 When the Ark of the Covenant was in David’s Tabernacle it was exposed which meant that God’s presence was exposed before all that stood before it. 46 This time was significant because the Ark which represented God’s presence was always hidden in the Most Holy Place from people because of the sin that separated them; but during this time it was foreshadowing a time when Christ would be present before mankind and then the Holy Spirit also present after Pentecost.
47 David’s Tabernacle would be restored for the first century Church as the antitype until end of the Age in AD70 with the fullness of the Gentiles coming in until the Heavenly Temple of God being open in Heaven according to:
Revelation 11:19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail..
Amos 9:11 “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old; 12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” Says the Lord who does this thing.
48 The Tabernacle of David was restored Spiritually to the first century so that the everyone including the Gentiles could enter into God’s presence while Cyrus’s “Herod’s” Temple was still standing where the Jews kept the Old Covenant laws. 49 This was the antitype to when King David had pitched a tent for the Ark of the Covenant with the presence of God on Mt. Zion while Moses’s Tabernacle was on Mt. Sinai where the Priests preformed their animal sacrifices going on at the same time back in the days of King David. 50 So it was when Jesus was on the Earth as God manifested in the flesh with God’s presence before everyone, then leaving His followers with the Holy Spirit for God’s presence to be in them, through David’s Tabernacle being restored.
Acts 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. 13 And after they had become silent, James answered, saying, “Men and brethren, listen to me: 14 Simon has declared how God at the first visited the Gentiles to take out of them a people for His name. 15 And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written:
16 ‘After this I will return
And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;
I will rebuild its ruins,
And I will set it up;
17
So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the Lord who does all these things.’
51 The vanishing away of the Old Covenant while the New Covenant that was being implemented on the Feast Day of Pentecost was a process that began in AD30 with the Spring Feasts being fulfilled and made the Old Covenant obsolete for those who received Christ and were baptized in the Holy Spirit. 52 The process of transition for God’s redemptive plan was not complete until the end of the Age when the Day of Atonement was fulfilled in the Heavenly Temple for the Whole Creation to be delivered out from the bondage of Corruption according to Romans 8:20-22. 53 In order for that to happen the Temple in Jerusalem had to be no longer standing so that Christ could symbolically enter into the Most Holy Place where His blood was as the Holy Spirit indicated in Hebrews 9:8 for the whole creation to be delivered out from the Age of Corruption. 54 Yet Christ would have entered the Most Holy Place after His Ascension as well where He could have purged sin with His blood so that sins would be forgiven on a personal level for those who were the blessed to be part of the first resurrection. 55 Yet according to Hebrews 9:8 Christ would have had to enter the Most Holy Place after the temple no longer stood to make Atonement for the Whole Creation in order to deliver the Whole Creation out from the bondage of Corruption and into the New Age of the New Heaven and Earth with a regeneration and restoration of all things.
Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Acts 3:21whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.
Romans 8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labours with birth pangs together until now.
56 Jesus foretold exactly when the Temple in Heaven would be built so while the Earthly Temple was still standing, the Heavenly Temple which was Jesus Himself would be built three days after His death on the cross along with His body the Church after Pentecost came temples for the Holy Spirit to dwell in. 57 The pattern that God implemented His plan of redemption through for the Day of Atonement to be fulfilled was going to be according to the original Tabernacle that was in the wilderness with Moses while the Tabernacle of David had been restored. 58 It was over the coarse of time that it took for the appointed times in the Fall with the Blowing Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Feast of Tabernacles to be fulfilled starting with the Blowing of Trumpets in AD66. 59 That is a long time for the antitype to be fulfilled compared to the type which was only a few months for salvation to be made complete compared to during the times of the Old Covenant.
60 Many have wonder about Ezekiel’s Temple because it does not fit the description of the Temple that stood during the first century that was built after the Babylon captivity to replace Solomon’s Temple. Many think that Ezekiel’s Temple will be built in the future. 61 I’ve always seen Ezekiel’s Temple as a type for the Temple in Heaven in the unseen Spiritual realm where nothing is to be taken as literal but Spiritual in the unseen realm as the antitype; Animal sacrifices pointed to Christ sacrifice which ended in the first century so it should be seen in that way. 62 I see Ezekiel’s Temple having the Lake of Fire in it through the Outer Courts that had kitchens of boiling water at every corner as well as the Laver for washing that was right next to the Brazen Alter. 63 You really need to have an understanding of typology otherwise you will only look for things with a carnal mind and is it any wonder why John said not the measure the Outer Courts in Revelation 11:2. 64 I do not believe that the Outer Courts was for the Heavenly Temple for the New Heaven and Earth.
Revelation 11:2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.
65 Chapters from Ezekiel 40 to 47 all lead up to the New heaven and Earth and Revelation 21 & 22 where it mentions the river of Life and Tree of Life in matching up with Revelation 22:
Ezekiel 47:12 Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.
Revelation 22: And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.
66 That should tells us all we need to know that Ezekiel’s Temple was fulfilled before the end of the Age of Corruption from the law of sin and death. 67 Ezekiel lived around the time of the Babylon captivity, when he wrote that, Solomon’s Temple had already been destroyed. 68 Then the Temple that King Cyrus built was destroyed in AD70. 69 The only other Temples mentioned were Jesus Christ Himself and then those who were baptized into the Holy Spirit. 70 Where do Futurist get another Temple for their so-called Antichrist after skipping over those I mentioned…?
John 2: 19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body. 22 Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
71 Something happened at the cross with the veil of the Temple being torn in two when the blood of Jesus Christ was presented into the Most Holy Place.
72 It was a sign that all the requirements for sacrifice was finished, done, no more needed. 73 though the Old Covenant people continued sacrificing until AD66 when the High Priest order the daily sacrifices and drink offerings to cease in the middle of the 70th week. 74 The Tabernacle of David did not have the Holy Place or a veil to separate man from God’s presence which was the type for the first century saints to come to Christ with the forgiveness of sin. 75 The Ark of the Covenant was taken away from the Israel people in a battle and it took a while for King David to recover it. 76 When David recovered the Ark of the Covenant he pitched a three sided tent around the Ark of the Covenant which is where God symbolically dwelt. 77 Everyone was allowed to go before the Ark of the Covenant and they would dance and sing before the Lord without the fear of being struck dead from the presence of God because of sin. 78 It was not until David’s son Solomon became the King that the first Temple was built out of stone instead of a Tabernacle or tent where the Ark of the Covenant could then be placed in the Most Holy Place behind a veil again.
79 Later on the Babylonians attacked Jerusalem and destroyed Solomon’s Temple and the Ark of the Covenant was lost and has never been seen since. 80 So when the Cyrus’s Temple which was the second temple that was built that existed during the time Jesus was on the Earth, there never was the Ark of the Covenant in the Most Holy Place when King Cyrus’s Temple was there during the first century but Jesus appeared as the Ark of the New Covenant for He was God manifested in the flesh. 81 During the days of the first century the Temple was like in King David’s days with the Tabernacle of Moses without the Ark of the Covenant because the Ark of the Covenant was in David’s Tabernacle on Mt. Zion. 82 After Jesus rose from the dead until the end of the Age in AD70 with both the Mosaic Temple and David’s tabernacle with God’s glory in the Church were going on at the same time in a similar manner as the antitype in the Spiritual realm. 83 God’s glory had departed the Temple where the leaders of Israel were still performing the law and their sacrifices until AD66. 84 During the first century God was rejecting the Priest of Israel’s sacrifices and later had destroyed the Temple in AD70 in the literal physical realm. 85 The Temple that was there when Jesus yielded up His Spirit while on the cross had its veil torn in two. 86 It does not say whether it was from Cyrus’s Temple or the Heavenly Temple. 87 Either way I believe it was as a sign that the blood Jesus shed was received into the Most Holy Place in Heaven upon the Ark of the Covenant.
Matt. 27: 50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
88 When Jesus entered into the Most Holy Place to fulfill the Day of Atonement it would have to be according to the pattern of the Tabernacle of Moses for the Whole Creation to have a restoration and regeneration of all things made new. 89 This was according to when the appointed times of the Feasts of the Lord and Holy Convocation Days were written in Leviticus 23. 90 So it was not based on David’s Tabernacle which was only in the Spiritual realm for the first century Church where Jesus Christ entered into the Most Holy Place after His Ascension 40 days after He rose from the dead. 91 Once the Earthly Temple no longer stood His presence appeared before the whole creation for the Great White Throne Judgment Day of Atonement after the Temple on Earth was destroyed.
92 Those walls of the Temple meant something in the Spiritual realm and represented the separation between God and all of mankind because of sin for the Great White Throne Judgment which was the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement. 93 All of the dead who were resurrected from the Whole Creation were judged according to who were sheep and who were goats or the just and the unjust from the all the nations of the world in AD70.
94 The just from those saved by believing in Christ did not have to fear the Great White Throne Judgment and the second death the Lake of Fire because they were already caught up in Heaven because they were sealed with a promise of redemption by faith in AD66 for their complete salvation. 95 they were adoption as children of God when they believed in Christ and received their redemptive body when they were changed and caught up to meet the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
96 The rest of the dead of the Whole Creation from all around the world were resurrected out from their graves in the second resurrection in AD70 after the Temple was destroyed which were the just and the unjust. 97 Keep in mind that there were still people that could have come to faith in Christ after the first century saints were caught up before the end of the Age in AD70 who would of had to wait until they physically died to receive their redemptive Spiritual body. 98 Once that the second resurrection happened, the Blowing of Trumpets was fulfilled so that Christ could enter into the Most Holy Place to fulfill the Day of Atonement with His blood for the sin of the Whole Creation. 99 Then He appeared a second time without sin therefore He brought full salvation to the world from the old Age of Corruption from the law of sin and death.
100 Just like the goat that was the scapegoat on the Day of Atonement had blood poured on it with the transfer of sin and lead into the wildness alive, so were the Beast and the False Prophet cast into the Lake of Fire alive in antitype. 101 We have people today who are like that scapegoat when they seem to be carrying the weight of the Age of Corruption of the law of sin and death on themselves and everyone else by not transcending in their faith for the New heaven and Earth. 102 They are in Outer Darkness not knowing the truth and some deny it when they heard it but our brother and sisters are starting to wake up and come alive like the Prodigal Son did when he realized the state he was in.
103 Some of the Pre Millennial Preterist except for one that I know of are saying that Christ’s second appearing occurred at His Ascension in AD30. They have also said his second appearing was not his second coming in the clouds of Glory in AD66-AD70. 104 They believe Christ second appearing was fulfilled at the His Ascension. But His second coming was Fulfilled in circa AD70. 105 Some of them have said that the second appearing was before God and is not to be conflated “to fuse into one entity” with the second coming in glory at the end of the Age in AD70, when their view of the 1000 years begins and continues to go on for thousands of years.
106 So if what those Pre Millennial Preterist are saying was true, then God would have thrown His fulfilling of the Feasts Days and Holy Convocation Days way off order to the pattern of His plan for redemption by fusing the Lord’s Passover with the Day of Atonement making them happen at the same time at the cross before the Day of Pentecost came. 107 The second appearing that we are talking about comes is from Hebrews 9:28 when the context is clearly speaking of the Day of Atonement when Christ as the High Priest appears to the people after coming out of the Most Holy Place after the Temple no longer stood.
The difference between the Lord’s Passover and the Day of Atonement
108 With the controversy between are we saved by faith or works, there has been much divisions over this. 109 I believe both play a role with The Lord’s Passover as saved by faith and grace on a personal level. 110 Then the Feast of Pentecost which was in between Passover and Day of Atonement gave them the power of to do God’s will and do good works. 111 At the end of the Age when Atonement was made for rewards it was based on works that were done and according to:
1 Corinthians 3:13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire..
Revelation 11:18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.
112 Realizing the fact that the Passover occurred during the Spring Feasts season and the Day of Atonement occurred during the Fall Feast season may answer this question of why there was a delay for the Day of Atonement. 113 Prophetically the Spring Feasts portray in typology Jesus Christ first coming, while the Fall-time of appointed times and Fall Feast prophetically pointed to his second coming.
114 Both Passover and Day of Atonement picture redemption through the shed blood of Jesus; that is being delivered from bondage to sin and the rudiments of this world. 115 The Lord’s Passover pictured the blood of the Lamb covering over the sins of the individual through faith; and Feast of Un-Leaven Bread symbolizes the first steps a new believer took when coming out of spiritual Egypt and accepting Jesus Christ as one’s Saviour and Master.
116 The Day of Atonement on the other hand, pictured the blood of the Lamb removing or blotting out the memory of sins of the individual, and the corporate sins of the nation of Israel; but in the case of the end of the Age in AD70 it was for the Whole Creation of mankind. 117 The Day of Atonement prophetically pointed to the time when Christ would appear a second time according to Hebrews 9: 28. 118 Then the Feast of Tabernacles prophetically pointed to initiate the marriage of Christ bride the first century Church which was for the New Heaven and Earth.
119 Perhaps this understanding sin forgiven and sin blotted out of memory will help to answer why another Passover like event and appointed time was needed. 120 The Day of Atonement doesn’t focus so much on leaving Egypt or bondage to sin, but rather on a Jubilee of God people preparing to enter the Promised land’s antitype of the New Heaven and Earth. 121 With Jesus Christ as our Everlasting Father who made all of mankind alive and in His presence. 122 After the final judgment day for the Age of Corruption the Whole Creation was delivered out from the law of sin and death which results in Hades that all of mankind inherited from Adam, was cast into the Lake of Fire.
123 The Feast of Un-Leaven Bread was being fulfilled by this:
1 Corinthians 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Hebrews 1: 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
124 After Jesus ascended into Heaven He sat down and began to reign with the saints for forty years known as the 1000 year millennium. 125 He waited for the time of the Day of Atonement to be fulfilled after the Temple no longer stood according to:
Hebrews 9: 8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
126 After that the Day of Atonement was fulfilled with He appearing a second time according to:
Hebrews 9: 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
127 The Pre Millennial Preterist claim that Hebrews 1: 3 when Christ purged sins was the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement that happened at the cross and then after Christ sat down and waited 40 years to begin His Millennial reign when the Temple was destroyed.
128 Back when Moses was delivering the people of Israel out of Egypt they were commanded to purge their houses from any leaven; The Feast of Unleaven Bread happened the day after the Lord’s Passover.
129 The purging of sin that Hebrews 1: 3 was speaking of was not a fulfillment of the Day of Atonement that the Pre Millennial Preterist claim to be; but it was the Feast of Unleavened Bread as shown in:
1 Corinthians 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Exodus 12: 15 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel.
Why Did Jesus Christ say He had not yet Ascended, but that He was Ascending…?
130 In between the Lord’s Passover and the Day of Atonement there was the three phases of the harvest signifying resurrection were being fulfilled through the spring harvest of barley, summer harvest of wheat and fall harvest of fruit. 131 After the resurrection of the First Fruits of Israel happened in Matthew 27:51-53, was the Ascension of Christ. Christ was not the first to be resurrected from physical death but He was the first to rise from Hades as the firstborn of Israel first fruits and that allowed others to be released from hades who were disembodied souls waiting to be resurrected.
132 The first resurrection in Matthew 27:51-53 was the antitype of the barley harvest. The years harvest began with the appointed time of First Fruits when they were to bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of there harvest to the priest. 133 When Jesus rose from the grave and the disembodied souls from the First Fruits of Israel Matthew 27: 51-53 fulfilled the beginning of the first resurrection that ended in AD66.
134 Jesus Ascended into Heaven 40 days after He was raised from the dead but before His Ascension into Heaven He said this to Mary:
John 20:16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!”
She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
135 Jesus was raised physically from the dead and He was not a disembodied soul that had decayed like most before Him who were raised from the dead right after Christ resurrection. 136 Paul said: Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer:
2 Corinthians 5:16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.
137 Paul said that the body first is sown natural body but raised a Spiritual body. No where can we find that the raised body is both a natural body and Spiritual body at the same time after it has been resurrected.
138 Many believe in a physical Spiritual body but nowhere in the scriptures can we find a physical Spiritual body, it is either one or the other. 139 Paul goes on to say that Christ had become a Life-giving Spirit and that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
140 At some point in time Jesus’ body had to change from a physical body to a Life-giving Spirit with a Spiritual body in order to enter into Heaven at His Ascension because flesh and blood can not enter there.
141 Why did Jesus tell Mary not to cling to Him because He had not Ascended yet, but that He was Ascending…? 142 Do you think that could have meant Jesus was in the process of Ascending and further more do you think that if Mary was to have clinging to Him that she might have started to go through the same process of Ascending with Christ before her time transforming or changing from a physical body to a Spiritual body…?
143 We know that those who remained and would be changed in a moment in a twinkling of an eye at the second coming of Christ were most likely to have changed instantly and did not go through a process of a change, nor experience physical death. 144 However with Christ ascending it could have been a process over 40 days or 40 seconds to change from a physical body to a Spiritual body where He became a Life-giving Spirit that could enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”
145 According to Acts 1:11 that Jesus will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven. 146 Christ had to have been transformed into a Spiritual body with the process completed before He could be fully Ascended into Heaven. 147 He would also come in the clouds of glory as a life-giving Spirit with a Spiritual body that one could be seen through the eyes of understanding that the Kingdom of God is not visible with the natural eyes. 148 Or only those who were resurrected from the dead and transformed into their Spiritual body including the unjust could see Him in the Spiritual realm while others left behind could not see Him in the final resurrection. 149 Can you imagine how the unjust must have felt after receiving and seeing their new Spiritual body and soul destroyed by the Lake of Fire leaving their conscience or Spirit that goes back to God in torment forever.
Acts 1:9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
Revelation 1:7Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
150 Going back to the second phase of the first resurrection, was the antitype of the wheat harvest in the summertime which was the Feast of Pentecost in AD30 to AD66. 151 This was a Spiritual resurrection for the first fruits who had the Spirit from being Spiritual dead in sin who found a new life in Christ which baptism of the Holy Spirit was metaphorical of. 152 In AD66 those who were alive and remained were changed into their Spiritual body without tasted physical death.
153 The Passover and the Day of Atonement are similar but have different ways of dealing with sin. 154 Passover covers sin but Day of Atonement removes the memory of sin permanently and set the cycle to start over again with a Jubilee of all things made new. 155 In AD70 it would not be just for Israel but for the Whole Creation to enter into the New Heaven and Earth Age in the unseen Spiritual realm for their life on Earth. 156 In Hebrews 9:24-28 we see where Jesus would appear at His second coming and remove the memory of sin that those who believe had their sins covered and forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ. 157 Christ entered into the Most Holy Place at His Ascension in Acts 1. 158 The Atonement could not be consummated until the Day of Atonement’s Great White Throne Judgment when Christ the high Priest left the Most Holy Place for His second appearing without the memory of sin.
159 The Feast of Pentecost and the Day of Atonement are similar because Pentecost was the 50th day from the Day of First Fruits, while the Day of Atonement was counted in the 50th year for a Jubilee year. 160 The four Spring Events of appointed times represented a personal experiences. 161 While the Fall Events were national experiences for Israel. 162 But during the first century when Jesus came to fulfilled the Fall-time Feast and the Holy Convocation Days they were for the Whole Creation to be delivered out from the bondage of Corruption of the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
163 I hear scholars of the Bible who are in full-time ministry saying the Feast of First Fruits, Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of the Day of Atonement; but these Holy Convocation Days were not Feast Days. 164 The Day of Atonement was a solemn day of weeping for their sins and a day of fasting and prayer that resembled nothing close to being a Feast Day. 165 I thought that way before just because in Leviticus 23 the New King James Version has it titled as so in Lev. 23, until someone pointed it out to me. 166 Then I went back to the New American Standard Bible that I started out with in 1974 and found a better translation that did not do that but called them for what they truly are.
Conclusion:
167 I would place the spiritual death and resurrection through water Baptism at the cross for death as the Passover, and the Spiritual resurrection with the Sheaf Wave offering and the deliverance from sin through the Feast of Un-Leaven Bread. 168 There is no way that you can erase this and cast it into the Fall appointed times like what Collective Body View does. 169 It just doesn’t make hermeneutical sense and Don K. Preston, Mike Sullivan and all those who support the CBV should have known better by now.
170 I don’t think we can nail down the exact time the Fall Appointed times of Blowing Trumpets, Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles were fulfilled. 171 All we got were the signs to look for like the destruction of the abomination of Desolations and Temple for the taking away of the first so that the second could be established that occurred shortly before those Fall Appointed times would have come. 172 They were pretty well all done in the unseen Spiritual realm like the resurrection of the just and the unjust. 173 All we can assume was that they all did occur on the dates they were design to happen on. We can see where all the Spring appointed times were fulfilled by their occurrences in the natural realm starting with the Passover and Jesus being the sacrifice. Followed by the others and eventually Pentecost at the Upper Room when the Holy Spirit filled those who were waiting for it.
174 Edward E. Stevens IBV fills all the holes with the Resurrection of the saints in Matthew 27:51-53 and in AD66 for the complete first resurrection of the blessed. 175 As well as the GWTJ resurrection in AD70 for the whole creation of the just and the unjust after the Temple no longer stood.
176 The CBV has been mistaken for what the confirmation of the New Covenant was about according to Daniel 9:27 and placed the Spring time Feast in there and has made the big mess of the Full Preterist movement and this will be the legacy of the CBV and all those who have supported it. 177 But they all have a choice either to come clean and maybe God will use them in a great way, or face a very harsh reality that is coming their way soon and not 2000 years from now.
178 There were three times where Atonement could have been made after the final sacrifice of Jesus Christ with Him entering and exiting the Most Holy Place but the final Atonement was according to the type in the Day of Atonement coming after the Blowing of trumpets with the Feast of tabernacles following as the antitype, and that was in AD70.
179 The first time with Jesus Christ entering and exiting the Most Holy Place could have been when He yielded up His Spirit when the veil in the temple was torn and He could have made Atonement for the first resurrection of those in Hades who He set free on the third day when He rose from the dead in Matthew 27:51-53.
180 The second time Jesus Christ could have entering and exiting the Most Holy Place was for those who were eagerly waiting for Him in AD66 when Christ appeared a second time.
181 The third time could have been after the Temple no longer stood according to Hebrews 9:8, and Jesus Christ would have entering and exiting the Most Holy Place for the resurrection of the just and the unjust; for the Whole Creation of mankind that were not part of the First Fruits Resurrection that began in Matthew 27:51-53, and finished in AD66. 182 This was when the First Fruits who had the Spirit would have changed into their Spiritual Redemptive body and met the Lord in the unseen Spiritual realm and went to Heaven.
2 Corinthians 5:10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Romans 14:10-11 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”
183 That appearing a second time in Hebrews 9:28 I believe would have only applied to those who saw Him a first time. 184 We may get to see Him twice before our destination is determined; Could it be that after we die Atonement will be made for us individually so that the memory of our sins will be blotted out after we face the Judgment seat of Christ…? 185 Here is something to think about, if we sin the day before we die there would be a memory of it until we repented of it and confessed it. 186 In the New Covenant it says: Hebrews 10:17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 187 It does not says when “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 188 How can Atonement be made until repentance and confession has been made…?
189 If the Day of Atonement was made at the cross which makes no sense because all of our future sins would be blotted out from the memory of God before we even committed them; and there would have be restoration of all things according to Acts 3:21 because Day of Atonement comes with the Jubilee attached to it.
Leviticus 25:8 ‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. 10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.
Acts 3:21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.
190 Other things would have been fulfilled at the cross as well if the Day of Atonement was fulfilled then like:
1 The end of the Age with Heavens and Earth passing away Matthew 5:17-18
2 The Second Appearing Hebrews 9:28
3 The Whole Creation being delivered out from the bondage of Corruption Romans 8:19-23
4 The Adoption
5 The Redemptive Body
191 On the other side of the debate Don K. Preston has made a fatal error by not realizing that sins were forgiven and covered and salvation came from the timing at the cross with this statement right here:
Don K. Preston “Quote” Morning Amuses Sept. 11th 2024 Israel’s Feast Days- A Final Look At Daniel 9 & The Atonement on Youtube:
”Until atonement was completed, ladies and gentlemen, there was no forgiveness. Until the atonement was consummated, ladies and gentlemen, there was no salvation.
“And so until the atonement was consummated by the bringing in of everlasting righteousness, which is the arrival of salvation, which is the application of forgiveness, the 70 weeks did not, and could not, end.”
“End Quote”
192 What both sides fall to see is that the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement was to remove the memory of sin that was already forgiven the moment one believes and has faith in the blood that was shed at the cross. 193 It happened in the unseen Spiritual realm through the scapegoat that was lead into the wilderness and this was what happened after the High Priest came out of the Most Holy Place. This was fulfilled at Christ when the Beast and the False Prophet were cast into the Lake of Fire. 194 The Spirit of the Scapegoat today is upon those who preach an old Age bondage of Corruption still in effect for all of mankind; with the Whole Creation still waiting for the Manifestation of the Sons of God to take place, and still waiting for the adoption a fulfilled hope of a redemptive body for the afterlife.
195 I find it hard to believe Don K. Preston said what he did but this strikes right at the heart of the Gospel and needs to be exposed as a heresy. 196 This will definitely be a death blow to his Covenant Eschatology because of the failure to see the difference between the Passover and Atonement. 197 We need to step up to expose these errors and to preserve the truth in fulfilled prophecy that came in AD70.
198 We must ask ourselves what comes first, Judgment or Atonement; and will there be an Atonement for us before we enter into Heaven. If Atonement comes first then what purpose is there for Judgment when we sit at the judgement seat of Christ…?
199 Israel was offering these bulls for the 70 nations for their Atonement because the Feast of Tabernacles comes right after the Day of Atonement. 200 This was the Atonement for the Nations or the Whole Creation according to Romans 8:19-23 so that they would be delivered from the bondage of corruption and into the liberty of the children of God; The Day of Atonement was always about a reset for the nations or tribes, and not just for individual like Passover was.
Numbers 29:12-34
Offerings at the Feast of Tabernacles
12 ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work, and you shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days. 13 You shall present a burnt offering, an offering made by fire as a sweet aroma to the Lord: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year. They shall be without blemish. 14 Their grain offering shall be of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths for each of the two rams, 15 and one-tenth for each of the fourteen lambs; 16 also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
17 ‘On the second day present twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish, 18 and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance; 19 also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings.
20 ‘On the third day present eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish, 21 and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance; 22 also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
23 ‘On the fourth day present ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year, without blemish, 24 and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance; 25 also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
26 ‘On the fifth day present nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish, 27 and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance; 28 also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
29 ‘On the sixth day present eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish, 30 and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance; 31 also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
32 ‘On the seventh day present seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish, 33 and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance; 34 also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
201 Tom Riggle “Quote”: Christ’s ministry was according to the order of Melchizedek. Nowhere in Hebrews, or elsewhere, are we told that Jesus was bound to follow the OT type. Paul in Hebrews, in fact, explicitly brings up the *contrast*, not conformity, to Aaron as type.
202 Could it be that Passover begins when we first believed and our sins are covered and forgiven, Atonement happens at the end of our life before entering into Heaven with the memory of our sins blotted out. 203 Jesus had three opportunities to enter into the Most Holy Place and three opportunities to exit it like the High Priest would do on the Day of Atonement.
204 Israel had three harvest times, there was the Barley harvest harvest, wheat harvest and fruit harvest. 205 The three harvests represents the three resurrections. 206 The Barley harvest is associated with un-leaven bread and the resurrection of Christ and those in Matthew 27:51-53 which occurred during the Feast of Un-Leaven Bread during the Sheaf Wave of First Fruits. 207 When Jesus was on the cross the vail was torn in the Temple and Jesus yielded up His Spirit. 208 This was the first opportunity Jesus had to enter into the Most Holy Place and exit it before going into Hades to set those captives free. Atonement would have been made for them at that time.
209 The second time Jesus had the opportunity to Jesus had to enter into the Most Holy Place was when He Ascended into Heaven 40 days after He was resurrected from the dead just shortly before the Wheat harvest and the Feast of Pentecost. 210 He would have been changed into His Spiritual body before He entered into the Most Holy Place at His Ascension and to become a Life-giving Spirit for those who received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
211 He would have exited the Most Holy Place and appeared a second time like the High Priest would do on the Day of Atonement when those who were alive at were raptured in AD66 and meet Jesus in the air fulfilling Hebrews 9:28. 212 The Parousia of Jesus Christ began in AD66 and ended in AD70 during the great tribulation.
Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
213 The third harvest was in the fall-time when the Blowing of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles occurred. 214 The resurrection of the just and the unjust happened at the end of the age when the temple was destroyed. 215 The Feast of Tabernacles was during the fruit harvest where there are good and bad apples for an example of the just and the unjust. 216 Third time Jesus had the opportunity to Jesus had to enter into the Most Holy Place was when the Temple no longer stood or had a standing and according to Hebrews 9:8. 217 This entrance would have been for the Whole Creation to be reset with a restoration of all things for the New Heaven and Earth according to Romans 8:19-23. 218 This was when Jesus Christ exited the Most Holy Place and came on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory in AD70 at the end of the age.
Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
