1 Confirmation is verification or final proof of something, and a confirmation provides proof that something is true. 2 The marriage of the lamb had to be part of the confirmation of the New Covenant. 3 Until that marriage was fulfilled the believers in Christ only had their hope that day would happen. 4 Until then their faith was the evidence of what the hoped for but before the marriage of the Lamb took place the Old Covenant had to be completely taken away first.
5 In Revelation 19 and 21, God clearly speaks about the upcoming wedding of the lamb. Jesus is the lamb, the groom, and those who believe in him are his church, the bride. 6 The wedding we are talking about is between Jesus and his Bride “the first century Church”, and it was the celebration of the New Covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ.
7 Giving an invitation to the marriage of the Lamb through the preaching of the Gospel was not the confirmation of the New Covenant because the marriage had not yet been consummated as in Revelation 21:1-2 says. 8 Before the New Covenant was confirmed there were others things that had to happen first after the Messiah was cut off at the cross; but it was through the blood Jesus Christ shed that made all things possible. 9 Because of Daniel 9:27 where the confirmation of the Covenant appears in the last seven years before the end of the 70 Weeks, we have to consider only the things that were to happen at that point in time so that rules out everything before then.
10 From the list of things in Daniel 9:26-27 there were others things as well that happened in the last half of the week “3.5 years” of the 70 weeks that were determined for the people of Israel and for their holy city according to Daniel 9:24. They are found in Daniel 12:1-2, and verse 7 & 11 and Revelation 19 & 21:1-2
Daniel 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
Daniel 12:1 “At that time Michael shall stand up,
The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people;
And there shall be a time of trouble,
Such as never was since there was a nation,
Even to that time.
And at that time your people shall be delivered,
Every one who is found written in the book.
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life,
Some to shame and everlasting]contempt.
Daniel 12:7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished.
Daniel 12:11 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
Revelation 19:7Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. 9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
Revelation 21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
List of Things to Confirm the New Covenant:
11 Based on the rule of first is the natural, then the Spiritual the natural had to be taken away or destroyed.
1 Corinthians 15:46However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
Hebrews 10:9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second.
12 The list of things to confirm the New Covenant were compiled of both natural through signs given to see, and Spiritual things that happened in the unseen realm that only those who were resurrected into their Spiritual body could see.
13 Natural Realm:
1 destroy the city and the sanctuary
2 till the end of the war
3 confirm a covenant for one week
4 end to sacrifice and offering in the middle of the week
5 on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate
6 the consummation
7 there shall be a time of trouble
8 at that time your people shall be delivered
9 that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time “ 3.5 years from the in of the middle of the week”
10 the power of the holy people has been completely shattered
14 Unseen Spiritual Realm:
1 Every one who is found written in the book
2 those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake
3 for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away
4 New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven
5 the marriage of the Lamb
15 If the the first heaven and the first earth had not passed away and power of the holy people had not been completely shattered there would have been no confirmation of the New Covenant. 16 If Jerusalem and the temple had not been destroyed and the daily sacrifices and offerings had not been taken away, it would have made the New Covenant look like a sham and the history of all the things Jesus did, look like He never fulfilled the law and the Prophets. 17 The events that had to happen in Matthew 24 had to take place before the end of the Age was to transpire to confirm the words that Jesus said would happen for the Old Heaven and Earth to pass away. 18 He whole reputation of being God manifested in the flesh depended on it, otherwise He was not who He said He was.
Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19 Since AD66 when the High Priest order the sacrifices to cease which was in the middle of the week no animals have been sacrifices for almost 2000 years which is confirmation of the New Covenant in of it’s self. 20 But there were some things in the unseen Spiritual realm that also confirmed the New Covenant, and we can know they happened by seeing them connect with things that happened in the natural seen realm.
21 Jerusalem was called the harlot that shed the blood of the servants of God and we can see how Revelation 19:1-2 connects with the marriage of the Lamb in verse 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
Revelation 19:1 After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honour and power belong to the Lord our God! 2For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”
22 Just before the last week to confirm the Covenant signs began to appear and this was one of them.
Signs Begin Appearing: Jesus the Farmer
23 Ed Stevens in his podcast called: Signs Begin Appearing (Late AD 62) August 26, 2012 says that there was a man called Jesus the Farmer who began to cry out continuously and intensely, Woe to Jerusalem for eight years until the Roman Army flung a huge stone that hit and killed him.
24 I have been asking myself was this like when Jesus called John the Baptist Elijah, but did Jesus the Farmer come in the Spirit as Jesus the Carpenter…? 25 Was this a sign of Christ second appearing, or was Jesus the Farmer a forerunner to Christ second coming, like John the Baptist was to the first coming of Christ, It sure makes me wonder. 26 The last week of Daniel’s 70th week began in AD63 and that what happened in late AD62.
27 During Daniel’s 70th week the New Covenant had to have all the things mentioned in Daniel 9:26b & 27 fulfilled in order to have the New Covenant confirmed. 28 If Jerusalem and the Temple were not destroyed the Old Covenant and the Old Heaven and Earth would have remained until they were destroyed. 29 If they would have never had been destroyed, Israel would of had to go on doing what they always did under the Old Covenant and Jesus Christ would have gone down in history as a false Messiah and a false Prophet and His sacrifice at the Lord’s Passover would have been in vain. 30 The stoning of Steven and the preaching of the Gospel to the Gentiles in Acts 10 & 11 would have meant nothing and all the First Fruits of the first century would have had to repent and turn back to keeping all 613 laws written in the scriptures.
31 Daniel 9:24 clear as day that Seventy weeks have been determined upon thy people, and upon the holy city with a list of things that had to take place.
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks have been determined upon thy people, and upon the holy city, for sin to be ended, and to seal up transgressions, and to blot out the iniquities, and to make atonement for iniquities, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal the vision and the prophet, and to anoint the Most Holy.
32 That list says: for sin to be ended, and to seal up transgressions, and to blot out the iniquities, and to make atonement for iniquities, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal the vision and the prophet, and to anoint the Most Holy.
33 Jesus had the 7 Weeks plus the Week to confirm the Covenant to fulfill all those things. 34 He become the final sacrifice by shedding His blood for the covering of sins until He entered into the Most Holy Place to completely blot them out of memory in order to fulfill the Great White Throne Judgment’s Day of Atonement. 35 Jesus may have done that for the first century Saints during the first century on a personal level, until He was able to blot out the sins from the Age of Corruption for the Whole Creation, after the Temple no longer stood, in order to fulfill the Ultimate Grand Jubilee for a New Heaven and Earth with the regeneration and restoration of all things.
36 This topic on Daniel 9:24-27 is probably the most misunderstand topic in the Bible. 37 There are so many different views on it that effect peoples faith and hope and has lead them into confusion. 38 Their faith is in the past like during the first century when they were expecting those things to be fulfilled, but now their faith is in Outer Darkness because of not realizing present day truth. 39 It is as if they are the Scapegoat from the Day of Atonement in AD70 what was lead out into the wilderness where Outer Darkness is.
Was Christ Crucified in the Middle of the 70th…?
40 Jesus Christ was crucified after the 62 Weeks as mentioned in Daniel 9:26a, but not in Daniel 9:27 when the regular sacrifices ceased in AD66. 41 It does not say Christ was “cut off” or crucified in the middle of the week there, people read that into it, when in the middle of the week was when the daily sacrifices ceased in AD66 followed by the abomination of desolations which did not happen in AD33. 42 It says in Daniel 9:26a: And after the sixty-two weeks, the anointed one shall be destroyed, and there is no judgment in him. 43 Jesus said while on the cross Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
Luke 23:34 Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
Rule of Law for a Gap:
44 Daniel’s timeframe for the 70 weeks has three segments of weeks and each segment has a sign to watch for that would take place within it, especially the 7th week. It is not okay to have any gaps or additional time of Weeks “years” within the timeframe of a distinction or segment of weeks or week.
45 Some Full Preterist who have the King Artaxerxes 458 BC to AD70 View place a gap in the last week in the middle of the week and extend it by 36.5 years but that is making the one week into 6.2 weeks.
46 King Cyrus 538 BC to AD 70 View
62 weeks to build Jerusalem
117 year gap
7 weeks allotted to the Days of the Messiah
1 week to confirm the Covenant
Non-chronological order:
47 Not following the order in which a series of events happened. The action of the play is presented in non-chronological order.
Chronological order:
48 Is listing, describing, or discussing when events happened as they relate to time. Basically, it is like looking at a timeline to view what occurred first and what happened after that.
49 The scriptures were not always written in a chronological order. 50 There are many times where they were written in a non-chronological order or the events get repeated in the same timeframe. 51 Like in Revelation 17, 18 and 19 where the judgment that was to come upon Jerusalem and she was referred to as The Scarlet Woman and in verse 5And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Then Revelation 20-22 repeats the same timeframe but with different events in a repetitive style of writing it.
52 For an example in the book of Daniel he repeats where the sacrifices ceased, sanctuary being cast down or destroyed, abomination of desolation, etc. were repeated in Daniel 8:11-13, Daniel 9:27, Daniel 12:11.
The Mystery of the Days of the Messiah’s 7 Weeks Revealed:
53 After asking many people what were the signs of events to look for in the 7 weeks I have not yet hear anything. 54 But they will lumping those 7 weeks in with the 62 weeks for no reason other than make it look like Daniel should have written the 7 and 62 weeks as simply 69 weeks. 55 By doing so them avoid the hidden mystery that really is not hidden but staring at us in our face. 56 I hope my arrangement of Daniel 9:25-27 in a chronological order, the way I see it staring at my face will help you to understand the mystery better. 57 If not you can pretend it does not exist and bury your head in the sand and deny it.
58 If Daniel 9:25-27 was written in a chronological order, it would look like this and would make more sense. 59 I will add in Quotation marks for where a gap comes into play for the 70 weeks to be understood for a chronological order. 60 I also switch sentences around within verses for a chronological order, but not a word was taken out.
61 Daniel 9:25 for the 62 weeks
“Gap of 116-117 years, until there shall be 7 weeks”
Verse 26 for the 7 weeks
Verse 27 for the 1 week
25
“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem, and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
“Gap of 116-117 years, until there shall be 7 weeks”
26
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks
“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
27
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
62 Here is Daniel 9:25-27 in the original for a comparison:
25
“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
26
“And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”
63 If you were to read Daniel 9:25 chronologically with the 7 Weeks starting when the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem instead of expanding it to the end just before the 70th week it would be seen like this as the wording flows .
“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’
In other words there would only take 7 weeks From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One “Jesus”, the ruler, comes.
So according to the 70 weeks beginning with the King Artaxerxes 458 BC, the 70 weeks started in 458 BC Jesus first coming would have been in 409 BC…lol
And then after Jesus came 62 Weeks “49 years later” the sixty-two Weeks starts for the.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. ..”
King Artaxerxes 458 BC to AD70 View:
Then with the King Artaxerxes 458 BC to AD70 View, after the 62 weeks Jesus would be crucified in AD33 and the last half of the week “7 years” gets extended out to actually being 6.2 Weeks which would be about 36.5 years longer.
64 That is how it flows chronologically, which would not make sense.
Ed Stevens in his article called Dan 9:24-27 – The Seventy Weeks
65 Ed Stevens in his article called Dan 9:24-27 – The Seventy Weeks – June 3, 2020 says Quote: I definitely agree that the seventy weeks ended in AD 70. However, I do not think that the seventy weeks were a strict literal 490 years. Otherwise, the Jews and Christians would have known exactly when the Messiah would appear. Yet the Jews and Jesus and everyone else did NOT “know the exact day or hour” of His coming. Instead, Jesus told them to watch for the signs. When they saw all these things take place, THEN they would know that His return was very near.
I believe the same thing holds true in Daniel 9:24-27. Daniel was not given a literal 490 years to calculate the time of the Messiah1s coming. Instead, he was given a length of time divided into three distinct periods, each of which were marked off by signs to look for. When those signs appeared and were fulfilled, THEN they would know when each of the three periods had been, or were about to be, fulfilled. So it was a sign-based reckoning, NOT a year-based calculation.
Daniel 9:24 lists all the things that had to be accomplished by the end of the seventy weeks. Several of those items in the list imply that the end of the seventy weeks was AD 70. And the beginning of the seventy weeks is marked off by the decree of Cyrus to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple in 536 BC (which was the end of the 70 years of Babylonian captivity). Thus the seventy weeks was a period of 606 years (536 BC + 70 AD). The difference between 606 and
490 is 116 years. That is where the gaps come into play. The Jews knew about the three different divisions of Daniel’s prophecy, and were watching the signs to determine when each of the three periods began and ended. It was not a literal consecutive 490 years.
Instead, it was three periods of time (7 weeks, 62 weeks, and 1 week), marked off by distinctive signs. This means that the three periods were either relative in length, or they had gaps between them. Again, if it was a literal consecutive 490 years, then the Jews and Christians would have known exactly when it was to occur. They would not have needed any signs to look for. This is why the Jews demanded that Jesus produce the signs to confirm that he was the Messiah that they were looking for. They could not be sure that it was the right TIME for the Messiah to appear, unless that would-be Messiah could produce the right SIGNS that they were looking for.
What I find extremely interesting is the premil suggestion that the “prince” mentioned in Dan 9:26 is the future antichrist. That idea would work just as well (or better) in the preterist past-fulfillment scenario. In my research for my historical book (Final Decade Before the End), I have begun to zero-in on this same idea. The Messiah Prince mentioned in verses 25 and 26 appears to be a different Prince than the one introduced in verse 26. Since the people of this other prince abominate the city and sanctuary, causing it to be completely destroyed and desolated, this seems to fit the Zealot leader Eleazar b. Ananias and his band of Zealots who polluted the city of Jerusalem and especially the temple area. Josephus talks about the abomination of the city and temple that was done by the Zealots in their internecine strife and rivalry. Since Eleazar “sat in the temple” and made numerous lawless changes in the sacrificial system, and lawlessly broke his covenant with the Romans and the Jewish people as well, it appears that he is the prime candidate for the “Prince” designation here in Dan 9:26, as well as the “man of lawlessness” prediction in 2 Thess 2. And he was a “prince” in the sense that he was the priestly (anointed) son of the most powerful High Priest at that time (Ananias b. Nedebaeus).
I am not totally convinced that the “anointed one” in Dan 9:25-26 is Messiah Jesus. I lean somewhat in that direction, but am open for a better explanation based on further analysis of the historical data in Josephus, Yosippon, Hegesippus, and Tacitus.
Obviously, I have not finished my research and landed on a firm position, but this will give you the basic framework that I am working within (past fulfillment at AD 70). I would recommend taking a look at Thomas Howe’s very helpful book. Hope that helps.
The interpretation of Dan 9:24-27 points decisively to the decree of Cyrus as the beginning point for the 70 weeks. This is inconsistent with the dates of fulfillment only if one insists (contrary to the vagueness of the word “weeks”) that weeks of ordinary literal years must be involved.
Jeremiah had also prophesied the fall of Babylon at the end of the 70 years (Jer 25:12). Babylon fell to Cyrus in 539-538. The logical conclusion from this language is that the beginning point of the 70 weeks basically coincides with the end of Jeremiah’s 70 years. That is, it occurs in 538 B.C. or shortly thereafter.
End Quote
66 From Ed Stevens article called “Sir Isaac Newton, Daniel 9, & the Rabbinic Forgeries Hypothesis” are true that most Christian scholars today follow in the erroneous footsteps of their Jewish predecessors (by claiming that the “Artaxerxes” of Ezra 6 & 7 is Longimanus):
An Artaxerxes Assumption
More importantly though, I call out my Christian peers who in self-righteous indignation point to
the chronological errors of the Jewish rabbis, claiming they were intentionally used to discredit
Yeshua (Jesus) as the promised Messiah, but themselves borrow the very same chronological
errors to prove their own Messianic expectations about Yeshua.
Think about the irony of the situation. Most of today’s respected eschatological teachers,
historians, and scholars claim that “commandment to restore and build Jerusalem” of Daniel 9:25 was given by Artaxerxes Longimanus in his 7th or 21st year. Yet, the very basis for this claim comes from the evolution of the Jewish chronology, (which said chronology erroneously
manipulated the Biblical statement of Ezra 6:14 that Darius “even” Artaxerxes was the Persian
ruler during whose reign when the divine decree was given) so that they (the Jewish people)
could claim their own Messianic heroes were the promised Messiah.
Not only do most Christian scholars today follow in the erroneous footsteps of their Jewish
predecessors (by claiming that the “Artaxerxes” of Ezra 6 & 7 is Longimanus) but they
compound this error by jettisoning the original kernel of truth that provided the basis for the
entire complicated mess in the first place. That original kernel of truth being the certain
knowledge that Daniel 9 and 70 “weeks” prophecy began with a divine command to restore and build Jerusalem by Yahweh the living God of the Bible.

Longimanus; large deep-water shark with white-tipped dorsal fin; worldwide distribution; most dangerous shark.
Artaxerxes of Persia who was surnamed in Greek as μακρόχειρ Macrocheir or Longimanus in Latin.
The King Artaxerxes 458 BC to AD33 View:
67 The King Artaxerxes 458 BC to AD33 View proclaim Christ was crucified in the middle of the last week and that ended the sacrifices and drink-offerings. 68 If that was the case where did the “on the temple the abomination of desolations” that immediately follows happen…? between AD30 to AD33.
69 Jesus said when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 70 This did not happen in the last half of the 70th Week as the King Artaxerxes 458 BC to AD33 View would in reality make it out to be if their view was true. 71 They have to slice and dice Daniel 9:27 to get it to twist into their view where it says: But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,.
Matthew 24:15“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16“then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
72 Daniel 9:24-27 does not mention the stoning of Steven or the preaching of the Gospel to the Gentiles after the middle of the 70th Week for the confirmation of the Covenant. 73 I know a few Full Preterist who believe it does regardless. 74 So they end the 70 Weeks there in AD33 and start the 70 weeks around 458 BC to make a consecutive run of 490 years so they can say that they do not add a gap like the Futurist do. 75 Because of the error Futurist had done a gap is forbidden regardless that Daniel mentions three segments of weeks in the 70 Weeks.
76 I’m just giving my two cents worth for to those with open minds for new information to consider that is based on Ed Stevens framework.
77 What my view leans to is the Anointed One was Christ who was destroyed according to Daniel 9:26a after the 62 Weeks which was over 117 years after those 62 Weeks were exhausted in troubled times.
78 The Septuagint Bible words Daniel 9:25b is the only translation that is written like this: “the times shall be exhausted”, while all the others say something like: “in troublesome times”, but with the times being exhausted it seems to work in favour to allow a rest or gap until the Messiah’s 7 Weeks begun in AD14. Maybe the translators viewed it from looking in the past and never gave it a second thought to look at it how Daniel would have before Jerusalem was rebuilt, maybe Daniel was thinking the way I’m thinking, but it should be considered for look more into it because it makes sense, but I’m not saying it was.
79 In Seven Weeks Christ built the New Jerusalem and Heavenly Temple which covers 49 years from AD14 up to AD63. 80 Then when Christ returned in His second coming in the clouds He established the covenant with many within one week “seven years” from AD63 to AD70.
The Mystery of the Lawless One:
81 The mystery of the lawless one is connected to the second coming and the sacrifices being taken away. 82 The lawless one in Daniel 8:11 is definitely connected to the High Priest son Eleazar b. Ananias who was the Lawless One who by him the daily sacrifices were taken away and through him he destroy the mighty and also the holy people. 83 In Daniel 8:14it says: And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.” 84 That is about 6.3 years and that would have started right around the time the Neronic persecution began in AD64 that ended in AD70 with the sacrifices ceasing in the middle of the week in AD66.
2 Thessalonians 2:8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
Daniel 8:11He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was cast down. 12Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered. 13Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking, “How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?” 14And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.”
Daniel 8:24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power;
He shall destroy fearfully,
And shall prosper and thrive;
He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.
2 Thessalonians 2:8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
Jeremiah 4:13 “Behold, he shall come up like clouds, And his chariots like a whirlwind. His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us, for we are plundered!” 14 O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, That you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?
Things that had to Happen Within the 70 Weeks:
85 Daniel 9:24
“Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, ….. AD70
Daniel 12:7
to finish the transgression, …….AD30
Rom. 4:15, Gal. 3:18-20, Heb. 9:15
to make an end of sin, …..AD70
Rom.8:21, Heb. 9:28
to make atonement for iniquity, …… AD30 – AD70
Atonement was only complete when the High Priest came out of the Most Holy Place….
Matt. 27:50-51, Heb.9:28

Matt. 3:15, Gal. 5:5, 2 Pet. 3:13
to seal up vision and prophecy ……AD70
1 Cor. 13:9-10, Luke 21:20-22
and to anoint the most holy …..AD26
Matt. 3:16-17
86 The desolation of Jerusalem was determined, was just before the New Heaven and Earth began, and is connected directly to the timetable in Daniel 9:24 where it says Everlasting Righteousness would be brought in and according to the Young’s Literal Translation it would be an Age “and to bring in righteousness age-during”. 87 This would mean for a whole new Age, not just the tail end of the Age because it did not have Everlasting Righteousness for there entire age-during so it belongs in AD70, not AD33.
2 Peter 3:13Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
88 When it mentions in Daniel 9:24 sin, transgressions, iniquities. 89 Sin means “to miss the mark.”; it can refer to doing something against God or against a person. 90 Sin is the general term for anything that “falls short of the glory of God” 91 A trespasser is someone who crosses a line or climbs a fence that he should not cross or climb. 92 A trespass may be intentional or unintentional. 93 Iniquity is more deeply rooted and refers to a premeditated choice; to commit iniquity is to continue without repentance. 94 All three are a different degree of the same thing of what the sins are that Jesus died for.
Sealing up Vision and Prophecy:
95 OT scholars Keil Delitzsch correctly give the meaning of “seal up vision and prophet” to be: “ Prophecies and prophets are sealed, when by the full realization of all prophecies prophecy ceases, no more prophets appear.” (Keil and Delitzsch, Commentary on the Old Testament, Vol. 9, (Grand Rapids; Eerdmans, 1975), 344)
96 Charles John Ellicott: “The impression of translators being that all visions and prophecies were to receive completed fulfillment in the coarse of these seventy weeks. It appears…, to be more agreeable to the context to suppose that the prophet is speaking of the absolute cessation of all prophecy” (1 Cor. 13:8. (Charles John Ellicott, Commentary on the Whole Bible, (Cassell and Co; London, 1884), 387)
97 After taking a closer look at this and what does sealing up vision and prophecy mean I have come to change my position on this because to seal something up is the hid it and put it away. 98 Those who claim that the sealing up of prophecy and vision was done at the cross can’t explain how the gifts of prophecy was in effect until the end of the Age when the perfect came. 99 Ever since I’ve been a Full Preterist we all used Daniel 9:24 where is says to seal up vision and prophecy to mean all prophecies would be fulfilled by AD70 which they were and it is a part of it.
100 According to Daniel 9:24 seal up vision and prophecy, if vision and prophecy were about to be fulfilled before the end of the Age in AD70 when they needed to be unsealed, not sealed up before all things that were written were fulfilled. 101 This realization hits right at the heart of the 70 Weeks of the King Artaxerxes 458 BC to AD33 View.
Daniel 9:24“Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.
Luke 21:20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Revelation 10:8 Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.” 9 So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to me, “Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.” 10 Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.
Daniel 12:4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
Revelation 22:10 And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
101 The only way it makes sense that I can see is Daniel 9:24 to mean was to seal up vision and prophecy is in the gifts themselves being done away with. 102 Because the prophecies and visions were in part to the Old Age of the bondage of corruption that came from the time of Adam and Eve in the Garden up to the time the perfect would come when they would have been done away with according to when the former things had passed away and all things made new. Revelation 21:4-5
103 Notice here where visions and the gift of prophecy was still being used and not sealed up until the perfect came, then it would be done away. 104 Vision and prophecy were not sealed up and did not cease during the first century even with the Gospel which was hidden until it was preached to the Gentiles in AD33.
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
1 Corinthians 12:10to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
1 Corinthians 13:8Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
105 It was only in AD70 after the end of the Age came, that the perfect came and all things were made new in the unseen Spiritual realm. 106 So then the visions and prophecies that were done away with, was that which was in part to the Old Covenant and Age, that means nothing from the Old Age can apply to post AD70 like the Futurist do with their eschatology. 107 They are the only ones that seem to believe that the actual visions and prophecies were sealed up for about 2000 years after Daniel’s 70 weeks were actually fulfilled. 108 They take the last week or seven years and cast it way off into the future while denying that all scripture that was written would be fulfilled when Jerusalem was surrounded by armies in AD66 and try to fit them into todays life.
Day of Atonement’s Tenfold Grand Ultimate Jubilee:
109 Strange enough that the Day of Atonement was on the tenth day of the seventh month, and that Daniel’s 70 Weeks was 49 cycles X 10 but with no Jubilee years in the 70 weeks and at the 62 week was short of the one week ending to make a completed series without the Jubilee year. 110 So I see nothing significant here to look at like I did before so I re-wrote me entire series on Daniel 9:24-27 as a second edition. 111 But I believe there was a Tenfold Ultimate GrandJubilee at the end of The Days of the Messiah for the restoration of all things with a regeneration for the New Heaven and Earth that came after the old age passed away in AD70 for the unseen Spiritual realm.
113 This Jubilee would be the very last Jubilee with what I would say was a 10 X or Tenfold Jubilee because it would not just for the nation of Israel but for the Whole Creation of mankind to bring in the New Heaven and Earth. 114 When the Temple was destroyed, it was a sign that the old things passed away and All Things were about to be Made New. 116 In Revelation 21:2 in mentions: made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 117 In Revelation 21:9 it says: “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 118 So somewhere between that time the Bride adorned for her husband was made ready for the Marriage of the Lamb and the marriage had taken place as the Lamb’s wife. 119 This would have been the ultimate consummation and confirmation of the New Covenant after all the other things had taken place like the destruction of the Temple and the resurrection of the dead and Great White Throne Judgment to fulfilled the day of Atonement.
119 In Revelation 21:12 it mentions: a great and high wall with twelve gates. 120 They were the first Fruits of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel which were 144,000 who were raised from the dead with Christ in Matthew 27:51-53 who were last to be sealed just before the Great Tribulation in Revelation 7 & 14. 121 Then the Latter Rain was outpoured on all flesh for the Tenfold Jubilee on the Day of Atonement the Whole Creation was adopted into the liberty of the children of God and all those born after like us are the Offspring of the Bride and Groom. 122 The Whole Creation became born into the New Covenant, however most reject it through disbelief and disobedience and become disowned or Spiritual slayed by Christ their Everlasting Father, and become Spiritual dead like the Prodigal Son was before he returned back to his father.
Luke 19:27 But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.”
Revelation 2:11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.’
Revelation 2:16 Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth.
Revelation 3:15 ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
123 The Grand Ultimate Jubilee definitely confirmed the New Heaven and Earth after the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. 124 No other sign marks this event so clearly that a blind man can see it as to shortly after the Jerusalem and the old Temple was finally destroyed in AD70 which brought the old Age to an end in the world that they knew at the time. 125 This made way for a totally new beginning with all things made new for the Whole Creation of mankind because the law of sin and death “Hades”were cast into the Lake of Fire forever. 126 Mankind was restored back to the Garden of Eden with the Tree of Life available to eat from in the unseen Spiritual realm to enjoy the Grand Ultimate Jubilee. 127 This is the Everlasting good news of the Gospel fulfilled to talk about and share with everyone with an open heart and mind with God’s laws written in them as we enjoy His presence with us forever.
